Reaches into mattress seams, bed frames and wall voids a spray cannot. Kills every stage, eggs included.
Keeps working for weeks after we leave, so anything that survives or arrives later does not restart the problem.
Bed bugs die at 118°F held about 90 minutes; 122°F kills almost instantly. We hold lethal temperature throughout the home.
You get the prep list and an arrival window. Anything you are unsure about, we answer on the phone first.
Quoted over the phone before anything is booked, so there is no site visit and no surprise on the day.
A full heat cycle takes the whole home to lethal temperature, then a residual product goes down per its label.
Eight to eleven hours on site, depending on the size of the property and how much is in it.
We walk you through what we found and what to watch for, and the home is yours again the same day.
If bed bugs come back inside sixty days we return and treat again at no cost.
Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.
My name is Julie. I'm one of the owners. You can talk to anybody here. I'm going to send you a follow-up text so you have, you know, the details. And then when you're there, I would suggest... If you could get us any kind of photo of any bed bugs or bed bug evidence you see so you don't have to do an inspection, we can just verify it right over the phone. You know, I want to make sure she has bed bugs. We treated people that swore they had bed bugs and didn't.
Answered by Julie on a call,
They will bring some equipment into the apartment, but like the trailer will have to stay.
Answered on a call,
He's an expert, ma'am. He's been doing it for many, many years, so I would have to just defer to his experience.
Answered by Mike on a call,
Let me see. I am going to have to get with the calendar here. Hold on one second. You have guests coming in Wednesday.
Answered on a call,
It depends.
Answered on a call,
This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Walkersville and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.
We actually want to heat treat as much of your stuff as we can. Okay, now that being said, buddy, we walk a very fine line. If you have a lot of stuff, if you have more of a cluttered home, then yeah, we need to find a balance on reducing your clutter.
That'll do it. Yeah, that'll do it. Okay, well, you can still save those items. We can help. We can save all your furniture, all your clothing with a good effective heat treatment. Okay.
We could, we're there, we're actually in St. Petersburg, so we're just right down the street from you. My only issue that I think we may have is that there isn't a balcony and there has to be a way. What we do is we run hoses from the back of our trailer into the apartment.
Think about this. If you have a lot of excess clothing, bedding items, throw pillows, things like that, and you don't have a chance to run those through a high heat dryer.
Just like with your back porch, you know, we'll spray the furniture that you have on your back porch and spray the back porch as well just to add that to the protective barrier that lasts for well over a month.
I would say get an inexpensive air mattress and put it as far away from your bedroom and living room as possible, even if you're sleeping in the kitchen. Okay.
It could. A lot of people don't realize it and then they move their mattress and they're nesting in between the box springs and then it mattress. They nest in headboards. They'll nest.
Let you get you started and we'll go over prep, you know, if you decide to go with us. Okay. Once we get you on the calendar, we'll go over prep once again so you don't have to worry about remembering all of that.
Closer to their body color and not light colored. I'm really thinking this is some kind of a roach nymph or maybe a beetle. So how it got onto your bed, both of them. Okay, yep, Chase, one of our technicians says cockroach nymph.
Kind of straight lines a few bites here and a few bites there and it looks like trails on your skin now if your dog had a mild case of mites and then passed away and left them behind then that could be there it is there they need another food source.
Sound like bed bugs. That what you just described does not sound like bed bugs. They're not that tiny, and they're going to come out like one at a time, and they're going to come out and bite you after you've been asleep for a little while, and then go back away. One will crawl out, bite you two, three times, and crawl back away.
What you're doing is putting... poisons that are not strong enough to kill a lot of them in your home and some of those can sense the danger and they move farther away from it. Now rubbing alcohol not a big deal it'll kill about 75% of them but it has to hit them when it's wet. Okay.
Two stories. Both units are on the second floor. One is in one building, the other is in another building about 30 feet away and you walk across the bridge to get to the other unit.
You can knit directly out of the dryer. You either fold it up right there on the dryer or if there's a counter or table next to it that you can see what's going on. Okay? And then you hang it up directly right there. And don't, please, please, please don't. So many people don't even think about it. Bring their stuff from the dryer and drop it on their bed or drop it on the couch. It's like people. Now you just...
We will be sure after you book with us that we walk you through that. We will coach you through exactly what to do. And you can be calling us all along the way while you're doing the prep. What about this? I want to take this coin collection and tell me, you know, because you just you do not want to bring those things with you.
I just sent you a text saying you can send pictures here. If you'll please send me a picture of that bug or those bugs, then I can let you know if they're bed bug or not.
He said sounds right, you know, and also not everybody reacts to the bites. We could have two people in the same bed and one of them gets.
That yeah Dorian I encourage that because that means that somebody's taking the prep seriously we like that we want to show up to a nice you know prepped home so it's the best case scenario for you and us so we encourage that Chris no problem
Can have a husband and wife in bed together and one of them gets bit and the other one doesn't they just they're getting bit they just don't get a red mark and they don't itch
Because if you guys are spraying on top of what we spray, we have to wait legally seven to ten days.
Why choose us
We kill bed bugs. Only bed bugs. One method, done right, in a single visit — heat and a residual product together, on every job we run.
Unmarked vehicles and personnel
No logos, and no mention of bed bugs on trucks, equipment or uniforms. Neighbours see a van; they do not see why it is there.
Total peace of mind
Sixty days of cover on every job. Should bed bugs survive the treatment, which is rare, we come back out and eliminate the problem for good at no cost.
No other pests, ever
One method, done right, in a single visit. It is the only approach we sell, which is the reason we are good at it.
Quoted as bed bug experts
Reporters do not find us in a directory; they come looking for someone who does this all day. CNN introduces Allan as the operations expert at Bed Bug Exterminator, and he has been quoted by name in thirty articles across fifteen national outlets.
Community-focused service
Seven offices across Florida and Maryland, each with its own locally staffed crew. The office that quotes your job is the one that turns up to it.
Affordable, high-quality heat solution
Priced by the size of the home rather than by the room, and quoted over the phone before anything is booked. No site visit, and no per-room upcharges.
Experienced, dedicated team
As Allan puts it: once we take on your project, your bed bug problem becomes my bed bug problem. If it turns out not to be bed bugs, we say so and cancel the contract. That has happened.
The single best solution — Heat Assault
Heat Assault reaches kill-zone temperature throughout the house and keeps climbing, which is what takes out the eggs as well as the adults. Paired with a residual spray on every job.

Over the years, we have developed a clear process and plan that works no matter the scale of infestation. As time has passed and our team has worked together more, we have focused on delivering treatment and solutions for bed bugs that are proven to work. To do this, we follow a strict five-step process that helps us to prepare any property in Walkersville and beyond for the removal of bed bugs:
This five-step process means that we can, more often than not, eradicate all bed bugs present in your building in one visit. Instead of a course of return trips, you get a solution that is covered for a minimum of sixty days. Plan on the crew being with you for most of a working day: a full heat cycle plus the spray usually runs somewhere between eight and eleven hours, depending on the size of the property and how much is in it.
Heat only works if the whole structure gets past lethal temperature and stays there. That is a question of output, and output is a number.
| Heat only | Chemical | Combination | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kills eggs | Yes | Often misses | Yes |
| Residual protection | None | A few weeks | Weeks |
| Reaches hidden voids | Bugs flee deeper | Limited | Yes |
| Visits needed | 1 (with gaps) | 2–4 | Usually 1 |

Yes. Walkersville is inside our service area, worked out of our Bethesda office, about a 62-minute drive away. We treat homes and businesses there, and the treatment is the same combination of Heat Assault thermal heat and a residual spray we run everywhere else.
Same-week appointments are usual. Because Walkersville sits roughly 62 minutes from our Bethesda office, a crew can normally be with you within a few days of the call, and the whole job is one visit rather than a course of return trips.
Treatment starts at an $1,800 minimum and is priced by the size of the home, with most homes landing between about $1,800 and $2,800. There are no per-room upcharges. We give you the exact number over the phone before anything is booked.
Almost never. Furniture is treated where it stands: heat reaches inside mattresses, frames and upholstery where a spray cannot, so it does not need to be discarded or replaced. We will tell you plainly if a piece is genuinely beyond saving.
Clearly, you are dealing with an infestation of bed bugs in Walkersville. Some of the most common signs that we recommend you look out for when dealing with bed bugs include, but are not limited to:
