If we need to come out, we can perform two part inspections: visual and swab. We first visually inspect the premises. We know where they commonly hide. This is a challenge for general pest control companies, who are not experienced extensively in detecting bed bugs.
If no visual signs are evident, it is possible you still have bed bugs. A new infestation could truly prove difficult to identify, even for experts like us, if it is in the beginning stages. This is why we also can perform a swab test if needed. The swab is sort of like a Covid test, swabbing specific areas testing for evidence of bed bug activity, positive or negative.
