Local record

Our record in Middletown

Why we run both, on every job

Heat

Reaches into mattress seams, bed frames and wall voids a spray cannot. Kills every stage, eggs included.

Residual

Keeps working for weeks after we leave, so anything that survives or arrives later does not restart the problem.

One visit

Bed bugs die at 118°F held about 90 minutes; 122°F kills almost instantly. We hold lethal temperature throughout the home.

Asked on a call from Middletown

March 2026

Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.

I've been following them to a T, but as long as you follow those rules, then you shouldn't have no problems, right?

If you haven't seen any bedbugs or gotten any bites since your treatment, it's a strong possibility that the bedbug infestation has been totally wiped out.

Answered by Mike on a call,

If you think it is, what happens?

If it's bedbugs, then we don't need to do an inspection, okay? We would just say, let's get rid of them.

Answered by Dori on a call,

That's what you got?

I'm sorry. Hold on. 2,000 square feet. Okay. I'm sorry. Let me, that's my bad. Let me fix that. I was facing that off of 1,000 square feet. Okay.

Answered by Mike on a call,

I'm going to send all this information over to our technicians, okay?

I don't understand why I can't just hit two and put two in here. Oh, wait a second. Wait a second.

Answered by Dori on a call,

Is what it is i build homes and everything so i know how all these things work Okay.

Just give me a call. I'll be here for another 10 minutes.

Answered by Dori on a call,

Can you either call or text me to confirm that you've got them?

Absolutely. We'll text you to let you know.

Answered by Dori on a call,

In our own words

20 from recorded calls

This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Middletown and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.

Absolutely, absolutely. And that also breaks up our heat that we need down low. If bedbugs hung up at the ceiling, floor clutter wouldn't be an issue. Our heat, because heat rises first, would fry them. But we need that heat down low where we hang out, where our furniture is, where the bedbugs are. And that seems to be where.

Dori

Then also our technicians usually carry sprinkler prep with them but because he had been working on one trailer moved everything from one trailer to another and didn't bring any with him. Yeah.

Dori

Bed bugs are very rarely on the surface, you know, every three to five days, and that spray just doesn't kill the eggs, and it doesn't get to where it needs to get to kill all the bed bugs and the eggs at one time. So with the heat treatment, there are three different heat treatments. There's propane heat, and whether you're renting, whether you're selling that house, I would avoid propane heat. Propane heat is known for causing floor damage.

Dori

It is only going to kill that spray. It's only going to kill the ones on the surface. It's not going to kill the ones that are hiding, and it's definitely not going to kill the eggs with a heat treatment. The home is heated up very, very quickly, faster with some treatments than others, and I'll explain the difference of treatments. And that temperature is held for their size home. We would raise the temperature up to 140 degrees and hold it for six hours. This way that heat penetrates. Everything, mattresses, upholstered furniture, carpet, carpet pads if they have it.

Dori

140 degree heated a steady 140 for the day because bedbugs will also nest in, you know, behind the walls, behind baseboards, behind wall outlets. But it might be cheaper and easier for you to just rent a couple of those heaters and bring them in and do it yourself.

Dori

If they're so very deep into the walls where they're closer to the actual outside the house than in and they didn't get the full treatment, those are the ones we worry about. But that's why we do that protective barrier spray. So as I was telling you when we first spoke, but that was a while ago, the spray that we do is the icing on our cake. It is a proprietary blend of bed bug specific pesticide and growth inhibitor. And the growth inhibitor is really important.

Dori

If you stop sleeping in that room for a week and slept in the other bedroom or the couch, if it is bedbugs, they will find you. So that is why we do the whole home only to make sure that all bedbugs and their eggs are eliminated in that one day and done treatment.

Dori

Really strange that we still have biting bed bugs at this time after a heat treatment but we've got you okay we will take care of you so um let me now do you want me to reach back out to you Judith or to Willis Hello?

Dori

You move to the other room in your house, you threw out the mattress cover, whatever you wash the mattress cover, you wash the bedding, you know, you you're doing stuff to keep your bed.

Julie

We do spray also. Yeah, we spray first and then we use heat because if you just do a spray, they're going to keep coming back. So the ones that are hidden won't get the spray treatment. The spray treatment will only kill those bedbugs that are visibly seen that you've seen so far. And so that's how we combine it with the heat because we want to make sure that we kill the eggs and the larvae because they're coming out to feed every three to five days and their eggs are hatching within 14 days and so this it can get really really bad really fast.

Or you can get an inspection with us and pay that $200 and we'll come and inspect your house and see what the problem is. If there is actual bed bugs there, if we do find bed bugs there, that $200 would just go towards what you would actually pay, you know, as far as getting clothes. And I can also get you a quote here if you would like.

Charles

If she sees any bugs, you tell her she needs to get good clear pictures and send to you so you can send to me.

Dori

I'm going to say if they're not showing and you can feel them, then it probably is something to do with mites because bedbugs, if you can feel the burning and itching, you'll see the marks as well.

Dori

With regards to inspection, we could probably do it tomorrow, I think, if you wanted to do it tomorrow.

Mike

Because you need to be out of the home and there is some prep. So now I know you haven't been in the home recently, but do you know if they keep a neat and tidy house, if there's clutter?

Dori

How we normally go by quoting would be I would just need information on your home, like your address, and I can just check the square footage of your address and it's not a big deal.

Charles

Leave it in the vacuum and don't put it in the indoor trash you want whatever's in that vacuum out of your house that will help at least make you feel a little bit more comfortable okay um you know it's and and not spread the issue That's what we worry about when people do steam or sprays. It's spreading it into other rooms and you have enough problems already. Okay, so give me just one second. I started talking.

Dori

I totally understand. So I think the game plan for right now is if you can get that closet kind of cleared up a little bit, just stuff off the floor and things.

Clothing items or linen. So if he does have an excessive amount of linens, what we recommend is to wash those on the hottest hot water setting and then dry them and bag them up in trash bags and remove them so he doesn't necessarily have to throw them away. The washing them on the hottest hot water setting and drying. And drying them will actually kill them in all stages on those linen items as well.

All right. That means that they have probably been there a good two to three months okay you usually don't start seeing them right away they hide you know and they only come out once every three to five days to feed and then they go back in and hide again until they're hungry again so oh goodness that would probably mean that besides the three rooms that you're knowing you have issues in, they could be in other areas of your home. Bed bugs are hitchhikers.
