Reaches into mattress seams, bed frames and wall voids a spray cannot. Kills every stage, eggs included.
Keeps working for weeks after we leave, so anything that survives or arrives later does not restart the problem.
Bed bugs die at 118°F held about 90 minutes; 122°F kills almost instantly. We hold lethal temperature throughout the home.
You get the prep list and an arrival window. Anything you are unsure about, we answer on the phone first.
Quoted over the phone before anything is booked, so there is no site visit and no surprise on the day.
A full heat cycle takes the whole home to lethal temperature, then a residual product goes down per its label.
Eight to eleven hours on site, depending on the size of the property and how much is in it.
We walk you through what we found and what to watch for, and the home is yours again the same day.
If bed bugs come back inside sixty days we return and treat again at no cost.
Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.
That is a decision I can't make for you because we only treat bed bugs. So if you're seeing any other bugs, I would say call him.
Answered by Charles on a call,
I am emailing that to you. Okay, come on fingers in just one second. Okay. Oh my gosh. All right. So I am just attaching that right now and shooting it off to you.
Answered by Dori on a call,
You can also check out with the, and I'm just going to send it to you, area agency on aging. For your county, every single county in the United States has an area agency on aging or equivalent of, okay?
Answered by Dori on a call,
2,000 because that gets applied if you want an inspection.
Answered on a call,
Now, if they're decent quality, there is no reason to get rid of them, okay? It's not the mattresses that brought the bed bugs in. Bed bugs are hitchhikers, and they're bad in the United States right now. And all it takes is somebody going to the wrong place at the wrong time and sitting down and picking up a couple of hitchhikers and bringing them in. And people usually don't know for a good month or two what they're dealing with. So during that time, there's a very high probability that those bedbugs are hitchhiking on that person coming out of the unit and going anywhere and everywhere they're going.
Answered on a call,
This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Mount Airy and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.
A heat treatment and what we do is Well, we do a spray as well, but that's the icing on the cake. You need cake, though.
This process to treat the house with the pesticide and the heat, it takes about 10 to 12 hours. Normally, we would have you depart your home around 8 o'clock in the morning and generally have you back around 6 p.m. in the evening.
Nicely demand a heat treatment, okay? If they want to pay their own person to do a heat treatment, then it needs to be done, okay? Whether we get the business or not. We start at 8 a.m. in the morning. We have everybody back in the home no later than like, well, we say 8 p.m., but it's usually about 6.30 when you can come back in. We do a spray and a heat treatment. And we would not guarantee our work if we just sprayed.
On and then leave the home immediately. Don't sit down on any furniture before you leave. And that way at least you know you are leaving bed bug free, okay? So be very, very careful with all of your stuff, vacuum it really, really well, use that high heat dryer and at least, you know, make sure you protect yourself. And then just give her our information and I'll try and help her.
I just need to let the technician know how many sprinkler head koozies, for lack of a better word. You know, there's got to be a technical term for them, but they're kind of koozies that have built-in ice packs. That keep them cool during the heat treatment.
Sadly, when you get a company that just sprays, even if we, a bed bug company, came out and just sprayed for you, we are not going to kill all of them with spray.
If you think that it might be wise, call your cleaning crew in to come in and clean the baseboards, the windowsills, and the door jams before treatment. That way they won't have to touch them for the month and that pesticide barrier can stay strong for you. It's really important with Airbnb to have so many people going in and out.
Treated in June, full treatment, probably did a respray, but then for some reason we treated again for free.
He will spray out what he does is he sprays first because that spray when dry is not harmful to people, pets and plants. So we like to spray it first so it's thoroughly dry for when everybody comes back home.
I did. And I took them off of Saturday because they need more time to prep their homes. So I can actually get you taken care of tomorrow.
Anything with lithium ion batteries. And as I said, those are usually more wireless items that have lithium ion. Treatments on your windows. Do you have just curtains? Do you have blinds?
She was fast track. Okay. So I'm just making a reminder for myself so I can give her a call tomorrow because I know she's probably already out of the office.
Sprinkler heads we'll quote you without them and if for some reason there are just let us know and we can adjust the price as needed the sprinkler heads and do you have parking directly underneath a window or door where you could run the hoses and heat fans up okay
Of that stuff you can do before you bring it back in, just get it out of the way. Now, if you want to, if it was me, I would strip my beds and I would run my bedding through the washer and dryer while I'm waiting for the technician and have him sitting in the dryer so I have fresh sheets to put on at night.
You'll see the bites on your arms once in a while or on your legs. Okay, well it is Florida and all the bugs are out of hibernation, so that could be it. With bed bugs, if you have bed bugs, they're going to bite you. If you have one bed bug in your home, it is going to bite you probably a series of three little bites.
Now, don't panic. It could be one of... many bugs in Florida that, you know, got in your home that bit you, that bit you during the day and they just didn't show up until later.
We do offer a payment plan. It's like an in-house finance. There's a $100 charge for that, but I also have to get approval from management before I can confirm that we can offer you a payment plan. But basically the way that it works is you pay half of the cost for the treatment up front. Let's just say it's $2,000 for the treatment. You have to pay $1,000 up front and then the remaining balance we can bill over for equal payment.
I would say you don't even need to, if you're going straight to the laundromat, you don't need to unbag them first, just take them straight to the laundromat. Open that bag up, start putting those soft textile items in. And then as soon as that bag's empty, throw that bag away. You want to make sure you bring new bags with you, okay? So that way any items that are coming out of the dryer are going into brand new bags that don't have any bed bugs or eggs in there, okay?
I certainly understand. If she's seen them, if you can have her take pictures or if she's already collected a few that maybe did, then those pictures would help us just confirm that they actually are bedbugs and not some other type of infestation.
It penetrates deep and finds the bed bugs and eggs where they're hiding and nesting and eliminate them Okay.

Quoted as bed bug experts
Reporters do not find us in a directory; they come looking for someone who does this all day. CNN introduces Allan as the operations expert at Bed Bug Exterminator, and he has been quoted by name in thirty articles across fifteen national outlets.
Community-focused service
Seven offices across Florida and Maryland, each with its own locally staffed crew. The office that quotes your job is the one that turns up to it.
Affordable, high-quality heat solution
Priced by the size of the home rather than by the room, and quoted over the phone before anything is booked. No site visit, and no per-room upcharges.
Experienced, dedicated team
As Allan puts it: once we take on your project, your bed bug problem becomes my bed bug problem. If it turns out not to be bed bugs, we say so and cancel the contract. That has happened.
The single best solution — Heat Assault
Heat Assault reaches kill-zone temperature throughout the house and keeps climbing, which is what takes out the eggs as well as the adults. Paired with a residual spray on every job.

Over the years, we have developed a clear process and plan that works no matter the scale of infestation. As time has passed and our team has worked together more, we have focused on delivering treatment and solutions for bed bugs that are proven to work. To do this, we follow a strict five-step process that helps us to prepare any property in Mount Airy and beyond for the removal of bed bugs:
This five-step process means that we can, more often than not, eradicate all bed bugs present in your building in one visit. Instead of a course of return trips, you get a solution that is covered for a minimum of sixty days. Plan on the crew being with you for most of a working day: a full heat cycle plus the spray usually runs somewhere between eight and eleven hours, depending on the size of the property and how much is in it.
Heat only works if the whole structure gets past lethal temperature and stays there. That is a question of output, and output is a number.

Yes. Mount Airy is inside our service area, worked out of our Bethesda office, about a 55-minute drive away. We treat homes and businesses there, and the treatment is the same combination of Heat Assault thermal heat and a residual spray we run everywhere else.
Same-week appointments are usual. Because Mount Airy sits roughly 55 minutes from our Bethesda office, a crew can normally be with you within a few days of the call, and the whole job is one visit rather than a course of return trips.
Treatment starts at an $1,800 minimum and is priced by the size of the home, with most homes landing between about $1,800 and $2,800. There are no per-room upcharges. We give you the exact number over the phone before anything is booked.
Almost never. Furniture is treated where it stands: heat reaches inside mattresses, frames and upholstery where a spray cannot, so it does not need to be discarded or replaced. We will tell you plainly if a piece is genuinely beyond saving.
