Local record

Our record in Rockville

Why we run both, on every job

Heat

Reaches into mattress seams, bed frames and wall voids a spray cannot. Kills every stage, eggs included.

Residual

Keeps working for weeks after we leave, so anything that survives or arrives later does not restart the problem.

One visit

Bed bugs die at 118°F held about 90 minutes; 122°F kills almost instantly. We hold lethal temperature throughout the home.

Asked on a call from Rockville

April 2026

Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.

Who are they gonna come look and see or what

Can do it two ways. We can have him come out and do an inspection. It makes me a little nervous that you already had an inspection that didn't find it.

Answered by Julie on a call,

Got in a drawer, though, does that take care of the drawers and everything, too?

Unless they are, if they are incredibly bad in the home, there's always a chance they could be anywhere, okay, if it's a really bad infestation.

Answered by Dori on a call,

What do you guys charge?

We base it off a couple of factors, the first thing being the size of the house. You said it's 1,800 square feet.

Answered by Mike on a call,

Is there anything else I need to know not to do?

We just don't want to, you know, erase some of that residue that we left behind because that helps kill the adults.

Answered by Charles on a call,

When I talked to Julie, she had said that, you know, we're trying, we're going to try and save, there's a coin collection, there is some guns.

If you can, I would say the concert t-shirts hang up in the closet.

Answered by Dori on a call,

In our own words

20 from recorded calls

This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Rockville and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.

You can leave your sheets how they are and then they'll heat treat them or if you have time you can also launder those on the hottest hot water setting and put them in the dryer and just leave them in the dryer.

Just fold those up next to the items on the dining room table. When Victor gets there, he'll probably ask you about them and you say they've already been heat treated.

Dori

Vacuum anything and everything that cannot go into that high heat dryer and then immediately throw that vacuum dirt out. I am hoping being that she seems like she kind of had a delayed reaction to the bite.

Know how little ones are. They have their favorite stuffies. They have their favorite blankies. Run those through the dryer to get those back. Any of the excess stuffies, any of the excess blankets, pillows, anything like that. We'll run them through that high heat dryer for at least 40 minutes and get them the heck out of Dodge.

Dori

After you got, well, when you got dressed, did you run everything through a high heat dryer to make sure there were no bed bugs on anything that you put on that day?

Dori

Do not do tenting. Right. Our company doesn't tent. We come in, we bring things into your home. Our heat assault system doesn't tent your home. We run our hoses into your home and we heat it up from the inside out. So I think it was just a miscommunication.

Dori

Those covers are not going to prevent you from getting a bed bug infestation. All those covers will do is prevent the bed bugs from getting inside and touching the mattress.

Mike

It's a heavy duty piece of equipment and it brings the temperature up to about 140 degrees in your house. We leave it there for about five, six, seven hours, depending on what the size of the house is. And then that is going to cause the exoskeletons of these bedbugs to completely collapse. They'll be devastated. But more importantly, it destroys their eggs, which is something that pesticides alone can't do. So if you have a bed bug infestation, you have eggs there as well.

Mike

When you get home, all you need to do is crack open some windows, maybe open the back and the front door, let some of that hot air exhaust because it's going to be hot and miserable inside the home. But just open up some windows, exhaust that hot air, turn the air conditioning back on, and that'll get the, you know, your house back down to a comfortable temperature. That heat is really the most effective way.

Mike

I do want to say, if it isn't bedbugs and the issue, I mean, we are bedbug exterminators, so we guarantee you for bedbugs. If it is something else, most of the time our treatment will handle any other kind of bug too. But on the off chance, if they're just having an allergic reaction or something like that and their problems continue and we don't know for sure it's bed bugs.

Dori

Of days, yeah, if every couple of days you can like schedule one of them, I hate to use them, but why not, you could schedule that, they can kind of keep an idea of, yes, you know, no, we're still not seeing anything. And then the next couple of days later, you know, another pest control company comes in for a free inspection.

Dori

Dead bugs are that bad in the United States right now. We've been doing it, oh gosh, for well over five years here. Our sister company for close to 15 years of initiative because dead bugs are so bad in the United States right now.

Dori

We have one of our technicians in Pinellas Park doing a heat treatment right now.

Dori

Any suitcases, anything like that. You want to take your vacuum. You want to vacuum them thoroughly on the outside, on the inside, roll back the seams, lift up the zipper flaps, everything, okay? Vacuum very slowly, vacuum very thoroughly. Also, you want to vacuum the whole area where you put all of your bags and suitcases, okay? Just in case there were any cleaners and if you put them back in your closet. They could be anywhere. Okay. Okay. You also want to, yeah, yeah.

Dori

Before after treatment cleaning avoid wiping down headboards window sills door jams and baseboards for at least three to four weeks.

Charles

Twice a week. Okay. Okay, yeah, so I would think it's not too long, but sometimes people don't even realize, you know, they're dealing with bed bugs for a good month or two before they actually see evidence of or the actual bugs because they're notorious for hiding. They only come out when they want to feed and then they're hiding again.

Dori

We are here happy to help support, so just leave it undisturbed. Keep in contact with us. Just let us know what's going on, like if you are getting bitten, especially your neck, back, face, torso. Usually bed bugs don't really bite too much on like ankles, feet that's more like related to like certain types of larva or mites.

They're usually more than one, but for the most part, they hide. They only come out once every three to five days to feed. That's why they're so difficult to find and see. Now, did you happen to keep the bug or get a good, clear, close-up picture of it?

Dori

Regular closets clothes on shelves blankets on shelves towels that's all fine you standard amount but if you have piles of clothes that you can't put away do you We have a situation

Julie

That being said, bedbugs are the most googled bug right now. So with Google and their algorithms, a lot of the times when you say bug or put a picture in Google Lens, because I've tested Google Lens myself, it is going to automatically come up with bed bugs. It might not be.
