Quoted as bed bug experts
Reporters do not find us in a directory; they come looking for someone who does this all day. CNN introduces Allan as the operations expert at Bed Bug Exterminator, and he has been quoted by name in thirty articles across fifteen national outlets.
Community-focused service
Seven offices across Florida and Maryland, each with its own locally staffed crew. The office that quotes your job is the one that turns up to it.
Affordable, high-quality heat solution
Priced by the size of the home rather than by the room, and quoted over the phone before anything is booked. No site visit, and no per-room upcharges.
Experienced, dedicated team
As Allan puts it: once we take on your project, your bed bug problem becomes my bed bug problem. If it turns out not to be bed bugs, we say so and cancel the contract. That has happened.
The single best solution — Heat Assault
Heat Assault reaches kill-zone temperature throughout the house and keeps climbing, which is what takes out the eggs as well as the adults. Paired with a residual spray on every job.

Over the years, we have developed a clear process and plan that works no matter the scale of infestation. As time has passed and our team has worked together more, we have focused on delivering treatment and solutions for bed bugs that are proven to work. To do this, we follow a strict five-step process that helps us to prepare any property in Cape Coral and beyond for the removal of bed bugs:
This five-step process means that we can, more often than not, eradicate all bed bugs present in your building in one visit. Instead of a course of return trips, you get a solution that is covered for a minimum of sixty days. Plan on the crew being with you for most of a working day: a full heat cycle plus the spray usually runs somewhere between eight and eleven hours, depending on the size of the property and how much is in it.
Heat only works if the whole structure gets past lethal temperature and stays there. That is a question of output, and output is a number.

Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, 2 of them from Cape Coral and the area we cover from here, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.
Tenants in there right now, but like I said, we have staff that can help with all the prep and everything and we'll make sure that they're out of the house and all their stuff stays.
Answered on a call,
Absolutely, I'll just need your prep list so we can get going on that.
Answered on a call,
Heat. Yeah, so we use a proprietary blend spray and we also use heat assault. The heat assault technology is a commercial piece of equipment that we own the generators. It's on the back of our trucks and we run the hoses into the office building and then we heat that to 140 degrees when we hold that temp there for about five to six hours. And that's after they do the spray of the perimeter. So they'll spray the window seals and baseboards.
Answered on a call,
It's usually not the alarm. It's like a smoke detector that has a heat detector in it because we have no smoke in your house.
Answered by Dori on a call,
I'm sorry. I'm not the owner. I'm just a remote worker and I work on my cell phone. I don't work in the office, so I don't know what, you know, I don't have a way to transfer you to them and I don't know what their whereabouts are.
Answered by Mike on a call,
There are a lot of companies that do electric heat or propane heat.
Answered by Dori on a call,
Let's go ahead and get some information from you. I think we probably have everything already, though. Let's see.
Answered by Mike on a call,
That is just strange. Okay, I'm going to send you a new one. You can send pictures here if I can celebrate.
Answered by Dori on a call,
This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Cape Coral and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.
It's a one-day and done treatment is the only way to get rid of the bugs and the eggs. The heat is the only thing that'll kill eggs. Spray just kills bugs and then you wait.
Have a 60 day guarantee, because we know if we can keep you bed bug free for 60 days, this infestation is done. As you know, with bedbugs, if they're in the home, they're going to find somebody to feed on within a handful of days. Even if it's an egg that was laid on the morning that we did treatment, eggs take about 14 days to develop and then hatch and they come out hungry. So they come out looking for food.
It's because they want the job. Oh, don't get a heat treatment, it'll damage your home. If it's done wrong, it could, but we do it right, and that's all we do for the last five years, and I can count the issues we've had on one hand, John.
Absolutely, and that heat penetrates everywhere that the bedbugs are hiding and nestling. And the heat kills the bedbugs and the heat kills the eggs. And the spray we do leaves a protective barrier around your home that lasts for well over a month, which is going to be really important in his room for sure, okay, because that's where the major infestation is. Um, so there is some prep that we ask, uh, be done for the home so we can give you the most effective treatment.
What we do, I don't know what kind of treatment you had before. We do heat and spray combination. Did you have a heat treatment before?
We do. In fact, you can just pick what day is most convenient for you and we can have you treated on that, have your house treated on that day.
Put them on a couch and they're a bed bug or something on there, then you've taken the chance of reinfesting yourself. So just to be careful, okay, when you have time, just you don't have to wash them again. Just run all those through a high heat dryer and then put them on the dining room table, put them on the kitchen counter, put them on tabletops where there's...
Then I would just, yep, leave them in the dryer or fold them up right there on top of the dryer and have them ready to be put back on your bed tomorrow night.
Hopefully, yeah, because that was, well, April 19th and then May 10th and then May 12th when we spoke to you last. So, you know, when people come down to Florida. They don't realize how many bugs are out wanting to bite us, you know, and some bugs can get into the house. Mosquitoes can get into the house overnight.
Absolutely, absolutely. Okay. The younger eyes couldn't see any bedbugs, so my older eyes feel a little vindicated. And no evidence of bedbugs. Those are just probably little dirt specks. But the bite looks suspiciously like bed bug.
That'll be fine the heat treatment will take care of that um and then let me see um okay you have a seat number bed that's in your master so i've Put that back up in the top of the note.
What they do is they are hiding away, and when they get hungry or when they can smell your CO2, which you exhale, so when someone's stationary sitting in a recliner or laying in bed overnight, they get attracted to that CO2, and they come crawling out, and they don't stay out long. They do their three little bites, and they crawl away.
I'm so sorry about that. It's just when people reach out about bed bugs, they usually want to call back pretty quickly. When people call about bed bug issues, they usually want to call back as quickly as possible.
That we do just gives you a second layer of protection that lasts for well over a month and has growth inhibitor in it. So in case there happened to be a bed bug that was so deep into the wall that it was in your neighbor's apartment and came back through the wall into your apartment, it would cross that pesticide barrier. It would get the growth inhibitor on it and that growth inhibitor would mess with his DNA.
What we do is we do a combination process of spray and heat.
I know everybody wants to do DIY and I'm a big believer in DIY except for electrical plumbing and now bed bugs. Okay. That's when you call professionals. You don't want to die. You don't want a huge water leak and you don't want bed bugs.
We get that a lot. Okay, especially when only one person is being affected and another one is not. You know, we hear from partners all the time, my wife thinks I'm crazy, my husband thinks I'm crazy, but they're not being affected by the bite. So, you know, and if they don't see anything, if they don't feel anything. They just want to just chalk it up to you being cuckoo, you know, and Yep. that's not true. That's not true. Some people can be affected and others aren't.
I got two people saying definitely bed bug, two more that we'll probably check in within a couple minutes. So, yeah, we got three of us confirming those are bed bugs. I mean, they're pretty textbook bed bugs.
Check the closet too. Okay. Check the closet because if there's one in this closet, there's one in every. So because we have to, as you know, being, you know, the property manager, you can't just turn off sprinkler heads in one unit. So we have.
You definitely need cake when you're dealing with bedbugs. So what I would have to do, being that your seventh floor, and I'll explain why, I'm going to have to go back to our owner and our technician who would be doing your apartment and talking to them to see if it's logistically possible to do your apartment. We do have a couple portable units that we... The news, they're not our heat assault system, so I do want to get with our owner and discuss it. But before I do, in your apartment, I know it's a newer high rise, do you have sprinkler heads in the ceiling or in the walls for fire suppression?

Treatment is priced by the size of the home, starting at an $1,800 minimum, so most Cape Coral homes run somewhere between about $1,800 and $2,800. There are no surprise per-room fees, and we go over the exact price with you by phone first. See the full pricing breakdown.
Bed bugs are patient pests that can survive a long time without feeding, so the reliable way to kill them at every life stage, eggs included, is our combination of Heat Assault heat and a residual spray. The heat kills the bugs on contact, and the spray keeps working for weeks afterward to catch anything that survives.
It does, as long as it is done with the right equipment. Bed bugs can survive the heat of a normal summer, so we use professional Heat Assault equipment to bring the whole home up to a lethal temperature and hold it there, reaching into the cracks and voids where they hide.
Not at all. Even spotless, five-star hotels and brand-new homes can suffer from bed bugs. If they are brought in from another location, bed bugs will find a place to live in almost any Cape Coral property, clean or not.
More common than most people would guess. Cape Coral is home to around 216,000 residents, and with roughly 23% of homes renter-occupied across Lee County, there are plenty of multi-unit buildings where bed bugs can spread from one home to the next.
They could have arrived by someone bringing them into your Cape Coral home unknowingly, or through cracks and gaps from one property to the next. What draws them in is body heat and the carbon dioxide we breathe out, and not clutter, though clutter does give them more places to hide. Our bed bug FAQ covers more.
Unfortunately, no. If you have tried the usual DIY treatments, you are likely only killing a small handful of the adult populace, leaving the younglings to take their place. The infestation keeps recovering until it is treated properly at every life stage.
Clearly, you are dealing with an infestation of bed bugs in Cape Coral. Some of the most common signs that we recommend you look out for when dealing with bed bugs include, but are not limited to:
Unfortunately, these signs prompt that you are dealing with a bed bug problem. With that being the case, taking action as soon as possible would be wise. If you spot even one of these signs, it is probably a clear indication that you have bed bugs loitering around your home or business.
