Local record
The page also includes 6 questions answered on recorded calls and 20 crew call excerpts.
Reaches into mattress seams, bed frames and wall voids a spray cannot. Kills every stage, eggs included.
Keeps working for weeks after we leave, so anything that survives or arrives later does not restart the problem.
Bed bugs die at 118°F held about 90 minutes; 122°F kills almost instantly. We hold lethal temperature throughout the home.
You get the prep list and an arrival window. Anything you are unsure about, we answer on the phone first.
Quoted over the phone before anything is booked, so there is no site visit and no surprise on the day.
A full heat cycle takes the whole home to lethal temperature, then a residual product goes down per its label.
Eight to eleven hours on site, depending on the size of the property and how much is in it.
We walk you through what we found and what to watch for, and the home is yours again the same day.
If bed bugs come back inside sixty days we return and treat again at no cost.
Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.
We can't do a heat treatment on a car, but heat treatment is the most effective way to destroy bedbugs.
Answered by Mike on a call,
I'll have to share it with my team. So that might take a few minutes. I don't want to keep you on the phone. I can give you a call right back. I have your information here. I can just call right back.
Answered by Mike on a call,
Or after you've done it, yeah, just shoot me a quick text message letting me know that you submitted that and, you know, keep an eye out for it.
Answered by Dori on a call,
Because he is out, I actually asked our technician that's going to be doing a day job up in Toronto if he would out of the kindness of his heart do a double.
Answered by Dori on a call,
I. Are the tenants downstairs complaining about bedbugs or is it just...
Answered by Mike on a call,
That just really depends on how you do your review.
Answered by Dori on a call,
This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Englewood and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.
Leave in the morning. We spray. We heat up the house using our equipment. And when you come back that day, bugs and eggs are dead. We guarantee this, whereas the spray companies can't guarantee it. And that's why we won't do just the spray treatment because it might not work and we got a reputation on the line.
What we do is spray in a heat treatment, so anything like the garage or an enclosed porch, we will just spray, but we heat treat everything else.
That absolutely, so that protective barrier lasts for well over a month, and it's the icing on our cake. The cake is the heat treatment. We use the heat assault system. So once he's done with the spray, Chase will, our heat assault system is the trailer.
Pull up. We have them all over the place. So don't worry, we do take care of you. So our inspections are $200. I don't want to charge you for an inspection because it's not bed bugs, that's $200 you've just thrown to the wind, you know.
Aerosol cans, things are under pressure, right? Aerosol cans, fire extinguishers, oxygen tanks, those need to be removed from the property. If there's like a garage, we can just put those into the garage or if there's a porch or patio, you can just put them, you know, set them outside for the duration of the treatment. And by the way, that treatment does last, it will take about. 10 to 12 hours. We leave the temperature at 140 degrees for about five to six hours.
Based on all the information that you gave to me, the cost to treat that home... The 1,165 square feet is going to be $1,800.
If they happen to bring another wayward bed bug in and it causes that pesticide barrier, the growth inhibitors within our pesticide barrier start shutting them down immediately. A bed bug that has not gone through treatment once it crosses the growth inhibitor starts dying off. It's completely dead in seven days, sometimes 10 if they're really hardy, which some of them are because they've been around for a long time and building up immune systems. That's why heat is so important. They can't become immune to the heat treatment.
They're having to deal with all this. Yeah. And that's terrible timing. But on the other hand. The people that were there in that apartment before might not have told management they were dealing with bedbugs. That happens a lot.
When you were in your bedroom and the bite started, how many were you getting like that first night when you woke up? How many did you get? A good estimate helps me.
That'll make it easier on you guys. We know that bedbugs are overwhelming to begin with, and we don't want to overwhelm you with the prep when you have a lot of stuff. And that's why, you know, if you're careful after the treatment, you will not have an issue. We have many, many people that do that.
You also have to understand some people will bring in like a propane heater or even electric heaters, which they take forever, sometimes a couple of days to heat up where the customer will have to be out of their house for a few days. And we don't use your electricity. We have a generator on board our trailer. So this is all like sort of self-contained.
About 8 o'clock in the morning and then typically by 6 or 7 p.m. in the evening you can have you can be back in your home and at that point all the bugs will be destroyed They'll be dead.
She is on the sixth floor, and that is why we told her it would probably be impossible for us to do the treatment.
That is a male that would be an adult male. So you either brought a few of them home, it could have been eggs that got into your suitcase, a female could have crawled in and laid eggs in your suitcase, or a couple crawled in. Now, when did the bite start? I know you've been back from your cruise for six weeks.
What that does is that will kill all the bed bugs. It collapses their exoskeletons. It kills their babies, the adults, the eggs, the larvae. It all dies.
I don't know. I don't work for Terminette, but they're pretty good at what they do, you know, so they should be able to tell you whether that bug is a bed bug or not or whether it's something else. If it's something else, then they can help you. If it's bed bug.
There are some potential things that that could be damaged and that is something that we discussed during the uh the phone call where we talk about preparation right so there's certain things that will need to be removed from the house things like aerosol cans fire
Take a picture of his bites, a really good close-up picture of his bites as well. Okay. And we'll take a look at that and see, you know.
It doesn't look like a bed bug to me, but what I can do is send this to my team just to get, you know, some more eyes on it, some more professional eyes because the technicians, they know a lot more than me with these bugs. For sure, they see these 24-7.
Want to kill all of the eggs up. The spray doesn't do that alone. Excuse me.

Quoted as bed bug experts
Reporters do not find us in a directory; they come looking for someone who does this all day. CNN introduces Allan as the operations expert at Bed Bug Exterminator, and he has been quoted by name in thirty articles across fifteen national outlets.
Community-focused service
Seven offices across Florida and Maryland, each with its own locally staffed crew. The office that quotes your job is the one that turns up to it.
Affordable, high-quality heat solution
Priced by the size of the home rather than by the room, and quoted over the phone before anything is booked. No site visit, and no per-room upcharges.
Experienced, dedicated team
As Allan puts it: once we take on your project, your bed bug problem becomes my bed bug problem. If it turns out not to be bed bugs, we say so and cancel the contract. That has happened.
The single best solution — Heat Assault
Heat Assault reaches kill-zone temperature throughout the house and keeps climbing, which is what takes out the eggs as well as the adults. Paired with a residual spray on every job.

Over the years, we have developed a clear process and plan that works no matter the scale of infestation. As time has passed and our team has worked together more, we have focused on delivering treatment and solutions for bed bugs that are proven to work. To do this, we follow a strict five-step process that helps us to prepare any property in Englewood and beyond for the removal of bed bugs:
This five-step process means that we can, more often than not, eradicate all bed bugs present in your building in one visit. Instead of a course of return trips, you get a solution that is covered for a minimum of sixty days. Plan on the crew being with you for most of a working day: a full heat cycle plus the spray usually runs somewhere between eight and eleven hours, depending on the size of the property and how much is in it.
Heat only works if the whole structure gets past lethal temperature and stays there. That is a question of output, and output is a number.
| Heat only | Chemical | Combination | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kills eggs | Yes | Often misses | Yes |
| Residual protection | None | A few weeks | Weeks |
| Reaches hidden voids | Bugs flee deeper | Limited | Yes |
| Visits needed | 1 (with gaps) | 2–4 | Usually 1 |
| Guaranteed | — | — | Yes |
Bed bugs die at 118°F held around 90 minutes, and 122°F kills almost instantly. We hold lethal temperature throughout the home.

Yes. Englewood is inside our service area, worked out of our Bradenton office, about a 60-minute drive away. We treat homes and businesses there, and the treatment is the same combination of Heat Assault thermal heat and a residual spray we run everywhere else.
Same-week appointments are usual. Because Englewood sits roughly 60 minutes from our Bradenton office, a crew can normally be with you within a few days of the call, and the whole job is one visit rather than a course of return trips.
Treatment starts at an $1,800 minimum and is priced by the size of the home, with most homes landing between about $1,800 and $2,800. There are no per-room upcharges. We give you the exact number over the phone before anything is booked.
Almost never. Furniture is treated where it stands: heat reaches inside mattresses, frames and upholstery where a spray cannot, so it does not need to be discarded or replaced. We will tell you plainly if a piece is genuinely beyond saving.
Clearly, you are dealing with an infestation of bed bugs in Englewood. Some of the most common signs that we recommend you look out for when dealing with bed bugs include, but are not limited to:
Unfortunately, these signs prompt that you are dealing with a bed bug problem. With that being the case, taking action as soon as possible would be wise. If you spot even one of these signs, it is probably a clear indication that you have bed bugs loitering around your home or business.
