You get the prep list and an arrival window. Anything you are unsure about, we answer on the phone first.
Quoted over the phone before anything is booked, so there is no site visit and no surprise on the day.
A full heat cycle takes the whole home to lethal temperature, then a residual product goes down per its label.
Eight to eleven hours on site, depending on the size of the property and how much is in it.
We walk you through what we found and what to watch for, and the home is yours again the same day.
If bed bugs come back inside sixty days we return and treat again at no cost.

Quoted as bed bug experts
Reporters do not find us in a directory; they come looking for someone who does this all day. CNN introduces Allan as the operations expert at Bed Bug Exterminator, and he has been quoted by name in thirty articles across fifteen national outlets.
Community-focused service
Seven offices across Florida and Maryland, each with its own locally staffed crew. The office that quotes your job is the one that turns up to it.
Affordable, high-quality heat solution
Priced by the size of the home rather than by the room, and quoted over the phone before anything is booked. No site visit, and no per-room upcharges.
Experienced, dedicated team
As Allan puts it: once we take on your project, your bed bug problem becomes my bed bug problem. If it turns out not to be bed bugs, we say so and cancel the contract. That has happened.
The single best solution — Heat Assault
Heat Assault reaches kill-zone temperature throughout the house and keeps climbing, which is what takes out the eggs as well as the adults. Paired with a residual spray on every job.

Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.
I did. I didn't. Oh, I'm so bad. Let me send this to you right now. It's kind of our follow-up after we have a phone call. So I've apologized for not sending it earlier. I went right to trying to get a hold of our owners. So I'm sending this to you. It gives them our website. They can check out our reviews. They can check out our seat system, which is the heat assault system, what we do, and they can check out the pre-treatment checklist, anything and everything right there. And then if they have any additional questions. We're here seven days a week until 7 p.m. on the phone.
Answered by Dori on a call,
What I can do is I can just go remove the email address from your name and then I'll just add it back and I think that'll work.
Answered by Mike on a call,
I gotcha. Well, just let us know and then I can get back out on there and see what the schedule looks like and I'll rearrange some things, make sure I can get you, you know, get out there.
Answered by Chase on a call,
We'll be open until we'll I'll be here till 7pm. And so if you you know, you can give us calls late at 7pm. There should be someone here to answer it. I'll go ahead and add a bunch of all the notes, everything that we just discussed, I'll add that to your customer profile. So if someone else somebody else answers, they'll be able to quickly access everything that we discussed. No problem.
Answered by Mike on a call,
Hold on one second.
Answered by Dori on a call,
This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Palmetto and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.
We do. Yes, we do. And our spray is more of a second layer of protection. It's kind of the icing on our heat treatment cake. With treatment, we use the latest state of the art technology. It's called the heat assault system.
Where we are is it's very soon after the treatment. The tech, oh, and that's another thing I want to explain about the bad and all that stuff because it sounded like you thought we didn't do a thorough job and we absolutely treated your house as thoroughly as we treat all of our houses and that's why we know how to get rid of the bedbugs. The instruction you gave him is not the best way to treat. We know how to treat. So what he did was he.
Then just make sure that the bed is stripped. So that way he can take that bedding with him and put it in the bag and run it through the washer and dryer while he's, you know, being heat treated. He will want to make sure he is leaving totally bedbug free so he does not accidentally reinfect his unit. Okay. So clothes need to be run through that high heat dryer. Any shoes need to be banged out really well.
The tundra allows headspace for the heat torpedo to, you know, travel with them. So they will also have a trailer that's about the size of a landscaping trailer. So when you pull up to the gate, is there room for them to be off the street, you know, truck and trailer?
Or are really cluttered and infected because the clutter on the floor, you know how people have some people, you know, lived a life and they have tons of stuff on the floor that breaks up the heat treatment that we need down low and that gives bedbugs many more places to hide. So those are the people we need to come back out and visit. But we give you a 60 day guarantee. So if we do have to come back out within those 60 days, there is no extra charge to you. We come back out, we respray, we nip that small underlying problem in the bud.
What pertains to you and that way you guys can you know concentrate on that so again no floor clutter but that doesn't mean pick up stuff off the floor and put it on the beds the couches the chairs or the recliners don't do that we need those empty we need the beds stripped and so when you strip the beds just automatically put all that stuff in the washing machine and the dryer so that way it's all nice and clean when you come home Okay.
I'll have the technicians weigh in on what they think, and then what I want you to do is very carefully strip the bedding. on his bed, on your bed, any closed, any soft textile items that are laying around your room and his room, you need to run them through a high heat dryer for at least 40 minutes. That'll kill any bedbugs or eggs that are on there. And good news, it'll kill pretty much any other kind of bug as well.
If it's a smaller, like with your apartment being under 800 square feet, spraying doesn't take long. Set up of the heat system and breaking it down doesn't take long. So the bulk of that would be raising the heat and holding that heat there for quite a few hours to fill your home up with heat. So larger houses take longer to spray and longer to set up and break down and stuff. But we always give that 12-hour window just in case. So we would probably have you back home by dinner time.
Antique furniture is fine. It's dirty. Porcelain glass is fine to stay. Pictures are fine to stay if they're on the walls using screws or nails, but if they're being held on the wall with like 3M command strips, that double-sided tape, that tape will soften and they will fall. Okay. So best to take them off and just Just maybe even put them in the bathtub. Just check anything thoroughly that you're moving out of that main heat treatment area or off the walls to make sure there's no bedbugs or eggs in there before like the pictures are put in the bathtub, something like that.
If you can find a company that can bring a portable propane heater up to your fifth floor apartment, they wouldn't have to park close. We have one, but like I said, it's not in that area.
All right, so I'm not able to confirm based on that picture because usually bed bugs the bites would be in groups of three. It looks like you sent other images, but I've only seen the one that's the bite.
You great man. All right. And then what you want to do, don't get any sprays, don't get any powders, vacuum.
What we do when we show up, we show up in an unmarked truck and an unmarked trailer so we are very discreet.
I know you don't have a lot of floor space in an RV, but that doesn't mean we want you to take things off the floor and put them on the beds or the couches or the chairs. We need those empty.
Then it comes right back out to feed again. Now, when that bed bug gets up on your mattress, it's not going to...
Every now and then, it is usually people that have cluttered homes and have a heavier infestation, but every now and then some of our regular people, one day and done, we never have to talk with them again, we'll see a bed bug come out like in the center of...
What happens is when bed bugs hitchhike into your home, it really depends on your routine. For one, who's bringing them in? Okay. It depends on their routine. If the kids are taught to not drop your stuff in the living room, to just run right into their bedrooms and drop their stuff down, that's probably where the bed bugs are falling off. Okay.
Is really helpful for one to know who's hanging around your house when you're not expecting anyone, you know, with your mom being a hotel and even when she's there at home, you know, you are in your brother, you know, just nice to have somebody
Me that looks like a bedbug but again we want to have our technician take a look at that to confirm And if you have any pictures that are more close up, you can go ahead and send those as well just so we can make sure we can see those clearly.
Then the list of things that might get damaged in the heat. Um, we have a long list and it, most of it won't even apply to you, but you know, some obvious things like candles and chocolate bars are going to melt, you know, stuff like that that would melt in the heat crayons. And then there's a list of things like aerosols, fire extinguisher, your makeup, your lipstick. Um, if you have some blinds up that are plastic, they might.
When you bomb, what happens is it will kill the ones that are on the surface, but it's not going to kill the ones that are hiding. Okay. That bomb fog just doesn't get to them. What it will do, though, is sometimes it will push them deeper into wherever they are.

Older housing stock means more cracks and crevices for bed bugs to harbour in. Rentals turn over faster than owner-occupied homes, and turnover is how an infestation arrives.

Yes. Palmetto is inside our service area, worked out of our Bradenton office, about a 16-minute drive away. We treat homes and businesses there, and the treatment is the same combination of Heat Assault thermal heat and a residual spray we run everywhere else.
Same-week appointments are usual. Because Palmetto sits roughly 16 minutes from our Bradenton office, a crew can normally be with you within a few days of the call, and the whole job is one visit rather than a course of return trips.
Treatment starts at an $1,800 minimum and is priced by the size of the home, with most homes landing between about $1,800 and $2,800. There are no per-room upcharges. We give you the exact number over the phone before anything is booked.
Almost never. Furniture is treated where it stands: heat reaches inside mattresses, frames and upholstery where a spray cannot, so it does not need to be discarded or replaced. We will tell you plainly if a piece is genuinely beyond saving.
