Be very, very careful to do that. And then if you have a vacuum cleaner, I would say vacuum your bed frame, your mattress and box springs really, really well. And then throw that vacuum dirt into an outdoor trash can. Okay. Okay.
A brand new bag with you, run it all through the dryer, throw that old bag out, and then put everything back in and then bring it immediately back into your house afterwards. And then you can put it wherever you want in your house.
Bedbugs may nest on mattresses, on box springs, within bed frames, things like that. They can get inside mattresses when they're in egg form or nymph because they're so small they're about the size of a head of a straight pin, but our teeth penetrates.
Some viral by uh 8 a.m so typically i'm not too sure if dory explains it to you but we we would do a heat treatment in your house um it would be a one and done day uh so typically the day starts at 8 a.m and they will they will end like around four to five And we would ask you to not to go back to the house, you know, two or three hours after we're done with the treatments just so the house could cool down.
A pain in the butt but you don't want to take a chance that there's a bed bug somewhere in your belongings you Yeah. know you're probably going to have a laptop bag and some stuff that they that might they might have crawled in there And you don't want to haul them out. So be careful like the vessel that you use to transport stuff, a little plastic bag instead of a laptop bag or if you can really inspect that laptop bag, et cetera.

When our technician does show up at the home, he arrives in an unmarked truck and an unmarked trailer. So we are very discreet. Our shirts say BBE. We don't say bed bug anywhere. Okay. Now, depending on the landlord and depending on your policy, we've come across some landlords that just pay for the heat treatment. They want to take care of their tenants. They're good, okay? There are other landlords or property management that will pay for it up front and then divide that into smaller increments and just add it to your rent to make it more convenient for you. And then, of course, there are other landlords that say you're on your own, you know, or they'll bring in somebody that'll just spread. And we know that isn't effective for everything. Okay. Are a sedentary society. We'll kick back in the recliner and watch sports all weekend or we'll nap, you know, on the couch or curl up with a good book or something like that. So anywhere, anywhere, living room, bedrooms, family rooms, dens, those are where we find bedbugs. Anywhere that the food source is going to hang out for a while.
People are a little bit more sensitive and they're bites will look like a mosquito bite size And then others have an even greater sensitivity and their bites will be like hive, okay? So really kind of hard to say this is exactly what bed bug bites look like unless you don't have any great sensitivity, okay?
Bedbugs will cling onto clothing and shoes as well, so unless he dropped trowel, you know, stripped down and threw those clothes in as well, I mean, there's a chance.
The problem with bed bugs is that they are some of the hardiest pests around. They can survive in high heat and humid conditions, which is why heat has to be held for as long as it is.
