This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Daytona Beach and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.

It's actually a combined treatment. We use a pesticide spray where we spray around the perimeter of the interior of the home, like around baseboards. But then we bring in a, you know, we also bring in a truck with a trailer. It's a commercial piece of equipment called the heat assault. It's unmarked.
I would suggest no matter what it is, avoid getting any more sprays, okay, until we know what it is, using your hygiene dryer and using your vacuum cleaner.
If he can, as soon as he gets home, if y'all can strip the clothing and change him into nice fresh clothing. That was already heat treated. That is the best and then directly bag those up that he had on at the hospital in a trash bag tight set them out inside the door until you can get them washed until you can get them laundered.

The thing is, is that bedbugs are expert hitchhikers. And what you just described is exactly how they move around and migrate from house to house. These are wild. Well, and if so, I'm kind of leaning towards the carpet beetle egg because that's, I mean, it was a quick search. It was a quick search, but the only thing that looks like that is the carpet beetle larva. So I don't know, maybe what you want to do is just reach out to a general pest control company, show them, they might look at that and go, oh, that's so-and-so, because they deal with different kinds of pests. We only deal with bedbugs.
A carpenter beetle larva can cause, carpet beetles don't bite us, okay? But their larva have hairs on it. and they can cause what looks like a cluster rash, a small cluster rash, or a small cluster of bites if somebody has a sensitivity to them. And, you know, people tell me all the time, well, I don't have carpet. Well, you know what? Carpet beetles don't care.
If the beetle actually bleeds the same way as a bed bug would but um you can check other places in your house like you can check the seams in your bedding and see if there's any like black spotting under your bed or you know in the seams of your headboard behind your headboard maybe check a wall socket for little white eggs.
