Reaches into mattress seams, bed frames and wall voids a spray cannot. Kills every stage, eggs included.
Keeps working for weeks after we leave, so anything that survives or arrives later does not restart the problem.
Bed bugs die at 118°F held about 90 minutes; 122°F kills almost instantly. We hold lethal temperature throughout the home.
You get the prep list and an arrival window. Anything you are unsure about, we answer on the phone first.
Quoted over the phone before anything is booked, so there is no site visit and no surprise on the day.
A full heat cycle takes the whole home to lethal temperature, then a residual product goes down per its label.
Eight to eleven hours on site, depending on the size of the property and how much is in it.
We walk you through what we found and what to watch for, and the home is yours again the same day.
If bed bugs come back inside sixty days we return and treat again at no cost.
Why choose us
We kill bed bugs. Only bed bugs. One method, done right, in a single visit — heat and a residual product together, on every job we run.

Sixty days of cover on every job. Should bed bugs survive the treatment, which is rare, we come back out and eliminate the problem for good at no cost.
No other pests, ever
One method, done right, in a single visit. It is the only approach we sell, which is the reason we are good at it.
Quoted as bed bug experts
Reporters do not find us in a directory; they come looking for someone who does this all day. CNN introduces Allan as the operations expert at Bed Bug Exterminator, and he has been quoted by name in thirty articles across fifteen national outlets.
Community-focused service
Seven offices across Florida and Maryland, each with its own locally staffed crew. The office that quotes your job is the one that turns up to it.
Affordable, high-quality heat solution
Priced by the size of the home rather than by the room, and quoted over the phone before anything is booked. No site visit, and no per-room upcharges.
Experienced, dedicated team
As Allan puts it: once we take on your project, your bed bug problem becomes my bed bug problem. If it turns out not to be bed bugs, we say so and cancel the contract. That has happened.
The single best solution — Heat Assault
Heat Assault reaches kill-zone temperature throughout the house and keeps climbing, which is what takes out the eggs as well as the adults. Paired with a residual spray on every job.

Heat only works if the whole structure gets past lethal temperature and stays there. That is a question of output, and output is a number.

Book an inspectionShared walls move bed bugs between units, so treating one apartment in isolation rarely holds. We coordinate with property managers on access, prep notices and adjoining units.

We can figure out the day and time. Hopefully it would be like 11 a.m., but if we get an all-day treatment in. Kiss me that day okay then what we would do is we would come and do an inspection at 6 p.m because the technician would be in Kiss me doing an all-day treatment before that but if we don't have an all-day treatment in Kiss me then we can get you in like 10 a.m 11 a.
Answered by Dori on a call,
Good morning. My name is Dori, and I work for Bed Bug Exterminator. I am working with Cynthia Galvin at Elder Affairs. She is helping us become a provider.
Answered by Dori on a call,
I give you a quote based on the description of the house and the situation. I can quote it right over the phone.
Answered by Julie on a call,
I, in this case, considering that it's the holiday weekend, it's a Sunday and everyone had to change
Answered on a call,
I don't think so. This is a line for our clients and it stays pretty busy.
Answered by Dori on a call,
This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Volusia County and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.
Either way you want to do it. Yeah. If there are a lot of throw pillows, blankets, excess stuff, then yeah, bag them up. You can run them through a high heat dryer at your leisure before you bring them back in. So don't break your neck trying to, you know, don't kill yourself trying to prep the house.
We give you a 60-day guarantee. We always honor our guarantee. So if you do find bedbugs again that are live, we come back and we'll treat again. And so, yeah, I just wanted to provide you with some background information about our company before I give you a quote, okay?
The reason why they do that is because they're overcompensating because they're not using the latest state-of-the-art technology, okay? So they'll raise the temperature. With the heat assault, we raise it quickly. We keep it at 140 for large houses. We only go up to 145. So we're protecting your house and getting rid of those bed bugs and eggs at the same time. So just some helpful hints while you're shopping around.
Be able to tell, okay, this is probably okay. But, you know, I wouldn't, if it is not okay, we wouldn't be able to guarantee if both sides are treated because then we're just asking for trouble. But you don't want that anyway.
What we don't do is inspection and the treatment in the same day so we can do the inspection and if we find it to be bedbug positive then we can schedule the and schedule the treatment now the cost for the inspection is $200 If
Not biting right away. And then little by little, they multiply, they come back out and they bite you again, you spray again.
Now with it being so long after treatment, now you need to seriously consider where you guys are going, whether it's to the doctor, whether it's to bingo, whether it's your favorite diner on a Tuesday for lunch, what have you. And then you need to mix it up, okay? If you have to go there, sit in another area, check those chairs out first.
To be really careful, you know, just make sure that you are watching, make sure your floor is clear, okay, next to the dryer, and you very carefully put those clothes, don't be flinging them around or anything, just very carefully from the bag to the dryer, and then immediately You know, you don't want to pack the dryer because you need those clothes to really aerate, okay, in the dryer. So I would suggest if you get...
Now, bed bug assassins, I think. I think they are the only other company in Florida that uses the heat assault system like we do. There's only two of us. Everybody else uses the electric heater to propane heat. I believe that's them. Okay, so if you don't go with us, go with them. I mean, if you have a choice, because that way you are getting the biggest bang for your buck, you're getting the most effective treatment.
We do like all day treatments. So sometimes we're booked solid and we can't get anybody away to do like an emergency. But we do try and, you know, take care of people as quickly as we can. Hopefully you'll be able to hear back from someone that can do earlier than me.
On the day of treatment, our technicians would arrive in unmarked vehicles just for your discretion so there wouldn't be any wording or images to, you know, suggest that we were there.
Process takes about 10 to 12 hours to complete. Normally, what we would do is have you leave your property around 8 o'clock in the morning, and then you can generally be back in your home around 6, 7 p.m. in the evening.
Get them in that Ziploc baggie. and let us know immediately. I will make notes that you've already found two, that you feel that the one is dead. I've already got those notes done. I'll make note about this one as well. And if by chance over the next couple of days you do see a couple more stragglers, then we are coming back out and we're going to treat you. Now, thankfully, it's not the, oh, my God, we have to be gone all day kind of thing.
Then also, if it makes it easier for preparation as well, you can always take pictures of all the rooms and closets in your house. And we can take a look at them and tell you exactly what you need to do for prep. So you're also not doing a whole bunch of unnecessary prep as well. So we are willing to help with that, okay?
What? If you put them in the garage, it is not going to bother our technician, the one technician that I do have available. He's a gun owner. Okay. I know for a fact. So, you know, he would step over them.
On to you or your husband's clothing and hitchhike elsewhere around the house. So that's what we need to be careful of. So, you know, I want to say with the smaller infestation that's just started happening, then yes, it is going to be localized, but there's always that chance. Yeah.
What with something like that, I mean, I understand being, you know, confidential and people want to be discreet and not embarrass anyone, but they were treating you next.
Then that's not bed bugs. The bed bugs will bite usually in a cluster of three. They call it breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Um, and if it was bedbugs back in October, you would be seeing bugs by now. Okay. You would have called us going, oh my God, you know, I have some bedbugs. So I'm, I'm guessing Laverne that, I mean, you know, it's Florida, it's hot. All the bugs are out of hibernation. They're breeding.
Only the clothes on your back and the shoes on your feet ideally I know that you said you have a special needs son who will need his wheelchair and that's fine obviously but besides that just leave with the bare minimum and then when you return home I would strongly advise that everyone change their clothes And
May be getting bit in your home that aren't even showing it. So you and the baby probably a little bit more sensitive to it. And that is usually why people realize a little bit earlier that they're dealing with bed bugs because if you're not getting bit or you're getting bit and not showing it, not having that allergic reaction, we live in Florida. Everything wants to bite us. It's summertime. You know, we have chiggers in those sands and fleas and sand fleas and mosquitoes and whatever. And sometimes it takes a while to realize that's what you're dealing with.
The problem with bed bugs is that they are some of the hardiest pests around. They can survive in high heat and humid conditions, which is why heat has to be held for as long as it is. They move through the smallest cracks and crevices and stick easily to furniture, luggage, and clothing. Given they are so small, we do not notice them until they are legion.
If you want to get rid of bed bugs in Volusia County, you must pay close attention to where they appear. In a household, they could have been brought in by a visitor, by yourself when staying elsewhere, or made their way in through a connected property.
Bed bugs get around with consummate ease and breed at a dizzying rate, so a small collection can soon become an infestation occupying many or all of your rooms. For business owners, a guest could have brought them in, or a delivery shipment, or new furniture.
We often assume that bed bugs only stick to beds or old, smelly furniture. Bed bugs do not care whether furniture, bedding, or properties are clean or dirty. They are here for one thing only — blood. They are just as easily found in an immaculate five-star hotel as in an old, second-hand bed.
