Our record in Clarksville

Why we run both, on every job

Heat

Reaches into mattress seams, bed frames and wall voids a spray cannot. Kills every stage, eggs included.

Residual

Keeps working for weeks after we leave, so anything that survives or arrives later does not restart the problem.

One visit

Bed bugs die at 118°F held about 90 minutes; 122°F kills almost instantly. We hold lethal temperature throughout the home.

Asked on a call from Clarksville

March 2026

Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.

What I have heard is the best way.

It could potentially damage artwork. If you have oil paintings, those are the ones that we were most concerned about or that's the only ones that we're concerned about rather. If you have any oil paintings, we would recommend you take those off the wall and just place them into the garage while we're doing the heat treatment.

Answered by Mike on a call,

Is that something we can pay extra for for a mattress removal or is that not an option?

Unfortunately it's not an option we our equipment we have big equipment and big trucks but they're filled with stuff because you know we do everything first class we have like special trays we put down and we put down blankets and then we put hoses through your house and so there's a you'll see when chase comes he's going to be unloading lots and lots of stuff so Yeah, unfortunately, we just we don't have any place to put a mattress.

Answered by John on a call,

Is either Julie or Victor Gonzo there, please?

Julie is actually out of the office until next week and Victor doesn't work in the office. He's one of our technicians, so he would be working on the road.

Answered by Mike on a call,

Can you come and do that?

I do not. We only deal with bed bugs because they're a very difficult bug to get rid of. And we have...

Answered on a call,

About how much that might be?

You can provide the address I can look at the square footage and the specs on the home and get you a quote

Answered on a call,

Do you need any?

That's not it. Oh, yeah, that's fine. Yeah, if it's that same address that we already have in the name of Jones Construction Group.

In our own words

20 from recorded calls

This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Clarksville and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.

We have to treat the whole house. We start by laying a pesticide barrier down first. We spray the interior perimeter of the home and we spray around the baseboards on the backs of furniture, around windowsills and door jams. Then we heat the interior of the house up using our heat assault trailer.

Mike

We run holes from the back of this trailer into your home, and we distribute heaters and fans in your home also. So with that being said, we raise the temperatures high to 140 degrees. Reason being is because it's a scientific fact that once the temperatures reach above 122 degrees, all the bedbugs and the eggs die. That's really how you can really kill the eggs. The spray doesn't kill the eggs, the heat does.

Charles

On our experience, we've been on the front lines of killing bedbugs in Florida for several years now. You're just going to have a very difficult time eliminating the DIY treatments and at-home treatments. They just don't work well because the pesticide and the chemical sprays. They just don't really work that well when it comes to the eggs.

Mike

We have a 60-day guarantee that goes with our treatment and, well, for Airbnb 90 days, so I'll put that in there as well.

Dori

To respray, if we have to come out and do another heat treatment, it's rare. We've done it twice in the last three years. But as I said, when you pay me, it's no longer your problem. It's my problem. And I'll keep coming to your house for the rest of my life if I have to till your bed bugs dead. So that's basically how we roll to treat your home using our combination treatment. Give me one more second here.

I remember us having a conversation about you telling me about how terrible the roommate was about all of his stuff. And I said, well, it needs to be taken care of ahead of time. The clothing that he has laying around, that can be helping bed bugs if he's vacuuming and leaving stuff in the vacuum and not disposing of it immediately.

Dori

Is good. Deadbed bugs are the best bed bugs. Okay. But while they are moved away from that spray, they continue breeding. So they're laying eggs. And if you have one adult female that spread one time in your home, she's laying five eggs a day every single day.

Dori

We would want to have you take pets and people and plants out of the property because we can't have you there while you're treating them.

Mike

You hang in there, okay? And just keep vacuuming, keep using the dryer, keep the population down a little bit low, you know, so it doesn't get too crazy and out of hand. And we'll touch base and we'll get you taken care of when it's more convenient for you.

Dori

The home. Yeah. And we leave it there for about five or six hours. And what that does is it'll actually destroy the bedbugs. Their exoskeletons will just disintegrate and their eggs will be cooked as well. So it destroys the eggs, which is really important because the pesticides alone don't kill the eggs. But when we combine the pesticide plus the heat.

Mike

Hopefully, we'll be able to see what's going on. Now, with bedbugs, with you dealing with it for such a long time, if there are bedbugs in the home, you probably would be seeing a lot of evidence. Now, I don't know, what did Spalding Deacon do? Did they do an actual treatment for bedbugs?

Dori

What I want you to do, I've sent you this text so you have our number or you can text us. I want you to take some really good close-up pictures of some of your bikes. Sometimes that allows us to see what it is. Sometimes we can tell from bikes. Other times it's so hard to tell from a bite because everybody reacts a little differently.

Dori

You've probably seen though that heat treatment is the best, most efficient way to kill bedbugs.

Mike

That is true. Bed bug bites present differently on all people. Some people can get bit and don't even show the bite. Other people can get bit and they're tiny little bright red or dark bright pink.

Dori

The reason I'm asking for the about the sprinklers is because our team has to cover those and there we need to know how many sprinklers are in that condominium.

Mike

If you weren't getting bites, if you were sitting in that chair every evening and not getting bit at all, it could be a coincidence. So save the chair, you know, bring it back inside.

Dori

Will the treatment protect you from ever getting bed bugs again? No. So you do need to stay vigilant as to where you go, okay? Who's coming over? You know, things like that, because they are so bad. You used to have to go into high-risk areas. Now, any place can be a high-risk area. It's just going to the wrong place at the wrong time.

Dori

They don't pop off baseboards or anything. No, no, they're not going to pop your baseboards off. They try and look for any evidence like what you found in the couch. Keeping a really clean home sometimes makes it a little bit more difficult for us when they are nesting in the baseboards and wall outlets and they're stinky. Their evidence is...

Dori

Just so many of them. So when it builds up so much like that, they have to spread out. And that's why usually when it's really, really bad cases like that, a lot of clutter, you know, the hoarding, the months, if not years of not dealing with it, we always have to come back out because they are so embedded in the walls. They're closer to the outside of the house than inside the house.

Dori

We will check in with you in a few days if we don't hear from you okay if you do need to show us anything you just send it send it right to the number that you sent the pictures on what we do Kendall and I we answer the phones here we will share those pictures with our technicians We will get their thoughts on whether it's bed bug related or not. And yeah, that does look like a smushed bed bug.
