We walk you through what we found and what to watch for, and the home is yours again the same day.

Quoted as bed bug experts
Reporters do not find us in a directory; they come looking for someone who does this all day. CNN introduces Allan as the operations expert at Bed Bug Exterminator, and he has been quoted by name in thirty articles across fifteen national outlets.
Community-focused service
Seven offices across Florida and Maryland, each with its own locally staffed crew. The office that quotes your job is the one that turns up to it.

Priced by the size of the home rather than by the room, and quoted over the phone before anything is booked. No site visit, and no per-room upcharges.
Experienced, dedicated team
As Allan puts it: once we take on your project, your bed bug problem becomes my bed bug problem. If it turns out not to be bed bugs, we say so and cancel the contract. That has happened.
The single best solution — Heat Assault
Heat Assault reaches kill-zone temperature throughout the house and keeps climbing, which is what takes out the eggs as well as the adults. Paired with a residual spray on every job.

Measured across 14 call-backs where a caller in Temple Terrace did not reach us first time. Counts come from our own phone record. No caller is identified.
Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.
Then after we did the heat treatment, did he check absolutely everything thoroughly to make sure there were no bed bugs or eggs when he brought those items before he brought those items back into the house? So a lot of the time people think, okay, I'm good. I can bring everything back in. But they don't check it thoroughly. They're carrying all this back in and I'm not just talking about clothing. I'm talking if If you have a lot of stuff that is around where you're sleeping, whether it's a bed, whether it's a couch, bedbugs can fall in there. Bedbugs will lay eggs in those items. If you're just carrying them right out of the house and then bringing them right back in after treatment without checking them, then you're reinfesting yourself.

Answered by Dori on a call,
Is the number that we need to reach him at? Let me check here.
Answered on a call,
This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Temple Terrace and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.
Then we break out the big guns, the heat assault system. Our trailer is our system, and we back it up next to the front door as close to the front door as we can. We run hoses in, we set up our heat assault fans, and we raise the temperature very, very quickly in the home to 140 degrees, and we hold it all day.
Sprays only kill the ones that are on the surface. It doesn't kill the ones that are hiding and it definitely doesn't kill the eggs. So you think you're good for a week or so and then here come the eggs after they hatch. They're coming to get you and so the heat treatment kills the eggs and the bed.
It can't bite you and it can't make more, which is really, really important. That's why we do that second layer of protection, that perimeter spray.
Fifth floor. Okay. Balcony over parking lot. The reason why I ask is because our heat treatment is our trailer. So we need to get that trailer as absolutely close to your apartment, whether it's front door or back balcony, as close as possible, and then run hoses up into your balcony apartment, you know, and of course our sprays, you know, we just carry them up with us. Okay, balcony over parking lot. Okay.
We put down the pesticide spray first, then we'll heat the house up. And what that does is that will just crystallize or, you know, basically harden up that spray so it'll be dry and it'll be harmless to pets and people.
We will answer any questions you guys have, and then we send everybody on their way. Now, of course, if it's an Airbnb and nobody's there, it's empty, we go in, we do our thing. We do a perimeter spray. We spray the perimeter of each and every single room, each and every single closet, any nooks and crannies and cracks we find throughout the house, and then we spray very carefully and strategically underneath. and inside all furniture.
Already not dying from the treatment we just did, it will kill them within seven days. But during that time. It automatically shuts them down to where they cannot feed. If they can't feed, that means they're not biting you. And if they can't feed, they can't breed. They're not making more of them.
If you go to a vacation rental or like an Airbnb a hotel whatever right if you go to somewhere like that and you put your luggage on the floor which I recommend don't put in your luggage on the floor in the vacation rental but But you can get
What you don't want to do is have us do treatment and then nobody be in the house for a couple of weeks. Okay. Even if somebody can come sit on a chair for a few hours in the bedroom or a few hours in the living room, we're going to know if there's any other bed bugs there.
This season works so well. It has happened in the past, though, and it was due to a lot of clutter. There is, you know, we have seen some very, very bad infestations where the property is just so cluttered. There's so much, you know, unclean.
The next main thing, now that there's no floor clutter, no clothing hanging around anywhere, not even in the dirty clothes hamper, get the laundry done, okay?
Actually, yes. Okay. I actually am following up with Donald directly too. I remember the account now. So because I have a separate one for Donald. He is doing the prep right now.
I totally get it. I know you just want that icky bed out and you want a new bed to sleep in. So I totally get it. But you should be good. Let's just stay vigilant. Okay. And just keep Okay. me posted.
When, oh, yeah, oh, yeah. So when you think, oh, I'm good, I'm done, I don't have any more bed bugs, you stop spraying. That pesticide.
Out once every three to five days, and when they're in hiding, they breed. So one female adult bed bug is laying five eggs a day for weeks before she has to breed one more time. So there's no way you can keep up with that. So it makes it really, really hard to...
Now when you open up the cases, be very careful because who knows he could have had his cases open at one time and, you know, so be very careful when you open up the case and just give it a cursory. If there's no exoskeletons in there or dead bed bugs, there's no bed bugs inside the cases.
Bed bugs were named bed bugs because that's the only time they could get to our great grandparents because they woke up at the butt crack of dawn and worked their farms all day and then, you know, the only time they sat still for any length of time was when they were in bed.
Dermatologist with bites it's an educated guess that they're making you know um and and so it's a good educated guess um but they might be wrong with the bites that i'm seeing and i'm going to look at them again here Um, even though he's a little guy, those bites should be a little closer together. Okay. Bed bugs are really, really tiny. So they usually bite in a closer cluster. You know, the bites are usually closer together.
We do supply or after the treatment, we do give a report. It has our company information, our license number and all that. All the things that Airbnb means we've been we've dealt with this many, many times in the past. My concern is I don't know if we have someone available today. Let me take a look. What area are you calling from or what area where is the property at?
We don't want any big piles of clothing or linens around. Sometimes these bugs could hide in between that and try to stay cool.

Older housing stock means more cracks and crevices for bed bugs to harbour in. Rentals turn over faster than owner-occupied homes, and turnover is how an infestation arrives.

Yes. Temple Terrace is inside our service area, worked out of our Tampa office, about a 15-minute drive away. We treat homes and businesses there, and the treatment is the same combination of Heat Assault thermal heat and a residual spray we run everywhere else.
Same-week appointments are usual. Because Temple Terrace sits roughly 15 minutes from our Tampa office, a crew can normally be with you within a few days of the call, and the whole job is one visit rather than a course of return trips.
Treatment starts at an $1,800 minimum and is priced by the size of the home, with most homes landing between about $1,800 and $2,800. There are no per-room upcharges. We give you the exact number over the phone before anything is booked.
Almost never. Furniture is treated where it stands: heat reaches inside mattresses, frames and upholstery where a spray cannot, so it does not need to be discarded or replaced. We will tell you plainly if a piece is genuinely beyond saving.
