What we do is we have a piece of commercial equipment. It is made in Canada specifically built to do heat treatments for bedbugs. So it's an over $100,000 piece of equipment and it's a trailer that we tow behind our truck. And then we basically will just kind of back it into your driveway and then we put our heaters and fans. It's all enclosed. So we'll put our heaters and fans inside the house.

They can be unless it's a newer infestation and to be honest the over-the-counter pesticides actually push them into uncommon places making them harder to eradicate they'll push them into the walls and outlets which you want to try to avoid. You can wash your linens and then spray yourself with deep spray before you go to bed to help deter them from biting but like even pesticides alone they don't kill the eggs or larvae of bed bugs.

So just like you or me, when we're approached by danger, we move away from it. They do as well. So if that heat doesn't hit them at over 122 degrees right there, real quick, they're out of there. They're moving deeper. They're moving farther away from it.

When you deal with bedbugs every day, you have to laugh where you can. Okay, so in just a few moments, I will be sending you a treatment letter that is negative.
We ask is that there's no floor clutter, okay, and I know it's little and hard to do, and we ask that all clothing be hanging up in the closets or folded up in the dressers. So no excess laundry, no laundry in the hamper, and then as little floor clutter as possible. We understand, you know, you can't be perfect. If you've seen any black spotting, it would look like somebody took a black ballpoint pen and kind of dotted it around, and it's usually in little clusters, those dots, that's bed bug feces. So what you want to do is check very, very carefully and then take pictures, really good close-up pictures of anything that you see that you can't identify.
Any combustibles. That's why we want it out of the house. We want you to have a house to come home to. And we're kind of partial to our technicians. So, you know, we don't want to have to train technicians all the time. So it's nice to, you know, keep them from blowing up.
