Quoted as bed bug experts
Reporters do not find us in a directory; they come looking for someone who does this all day. CNN introduces Allan as the operations expert at Bed Bug Exterminator, and he has been quoted by name in thirty articles across fifteen national outlets.
Community-focused service
Seven offices across Florida and Maryland, each with its own locally staffed crew. The office that quotes your job is the one that turns up to it.
Affordable, high-quality heat solution
Priced by the size of the home rather than by the room, and quoted over the phone before anything is booked. No site visit, and no per-room upcharges.
Experienced, dedicated team
As Allan puts it: once we take on your project, your bed bug problem becomes my bed bug problem. If it turns out not to be bed bugs, we say so and cancel the contract. That has happened.
The single best solution — Heat Assault
Heat Assault reaches kill-zone temperature throughout the house and keeps climbing, which is what takes out the eggs as well as the adults. Paired with a residual spray on every job.

Heat only works if the whole structure gets past lethal temperature and stays there. That is a question of output, and output is a number.

We do ask that clothing be hung up in the closet or folded up in the dressers. Now, that being said, if they have a lot of excess, and I'm not just talking clothing, but any kind of fabric items that are laying around, it is always best to take those and run them through a high heat dryer for at least 40 minutes.
Answered by Dori on a call,
Because they would be the one responsible for prepping their house properly so they have that 60-day guarantee. They don't have to wait it.
Answered by Dori on a call,
It's, yes, absolutely. I will let you know exactly. I can't say to the minute when he's going to be there, but I can say, okay, he'll be there between 7 and 730 or 730 and 8. Okay.
Answered by Dori on a call,
I don't see that we quoted 1,800, but I think we can do 1,800. That shouldn't be a problem.
Answered by Mike on a call,
I totally understand all right thank you for your patience and i'll get back with you as soon as you're welcome karen okay bye
Answered by Dori on a call,
Based on the image, I can confirm that it is a bed bug, but our technicians also see these images and so they can, you know, chime in and let me know just for sure. Now, if you have any other pictures that are maybe closer up. That would also help us make sure and determine that it is indeed a bed bug. And if you have any areas on you where you've been bitten, those bites are usually going to be in groups of three, maybe on your ankles or your neck. If you have any images like that, you can also text them here. That would just help us confirm.
Answered on a call,
This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Citrus County and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.
The reason why I am asking these odd questions is because our heat treatment is our trailer. So we need to back up the trailer as close to the front door or the back balcony as possible and then run hoses up and into the unit.
Those are not heat-treated areas. It would be like when your mom yelled at you, shut the front door. What are you trying to do, air conditioning outside? So if we tried to heat-treat a garage or the porch, that's exactly what it would be. You know, we wouldn't be able to keep that in there.
How bed bugs work, you cannot just treat one room because they can outrun your treatment and just go to the other room. So to eradicate them, you have to treat the whole house. What we do, we only treat bed bugs. We've been doing this for three years here and eight more in Michigan is we do a combination heat and spray treatment. You heat up, you spray and heat up the whole house. This guarantees you get all the bugs and eggs in one day.
With duplexes. Sometimes we will suggest it's a good idea to contact the landlord and have the whole duplex done or like a converted house that's converted into apartments because the bed bugs can travel into different units pretty easily and sometimes it's more cost efficient. So our base price is $1,800. You fall into our base price.
To treat as much stuff as we can, but there's a fine line. If there's too much stuff in a small space. That, for one, doesn't allow our technicians to kind of spray where they need to, and it also messes with the heat. A lot of stuff piled up blocks the heat from getting where it needs to. That keeps trying to get through all of that stuff.
It's a one day treatment. We can actually get rid of them in one day, which is kind of special. And we guarantee our work. When you pay us, the bed bug problem becomes our bed bug problem.
Paint cooking spray to Axe body spray to air freshers anything like that those can just be put in the box and moved right in if it's in an area where you know you've seen bed bugs just check anything that you're moving out of the heat treatment area make sure there's no bed bugs or eggs if you're going to stash it in the garage or on the back porch and
Those are the type of questions to ask. How many times do you have to come out? Do you guarantee that you're going to get them all after four sprays? And that's your best bet to try to get this covered. I wish I could help you.
I don't know. I would say any other company that says they do thermal heat or thermal remediation, fancy word for saying electric heaters, okay, just avoid those that have propane. And then, of course, you know, us and bed bug assassins are out because of the heat assault system.
I said, he inspected that mattress thoroughly and there were no new signs or anything like that. So if you can send me over pictures, I can try to determine what's going on for you and see what we can do to help, okay?
Some fleas jump, but if they're left alone, you know, they'll bite in like a cluster if they're left alone, if they're hungry. You know, most of the time we feel the flea bite and we push them off or we see the flea. and flick them off or they jump, you know, because we've moved or something. Bedbugs are not fast like that. They don't run, they don't jump, they don't fly, but they do crawl with purpose. Okay, so again, vacuum slowly and thoroughly, immediately throwing the vacuum dirt out and then using a high heat dryer for absolutely everything that will go in a high heat dryer for at least 40 minutes.
You don't. Okay. Okay. That's okay. Hold on one second. If you want to share your address with me, then I can pull up the square footage and give you an idea. It is an apartment, right?
Move that out. Absolutely it does. So anything else, take a look at that. If you have any questions, we have plenty of time, okay? You know, if you have any questions to go over anything that you have questions on to get the rest of your house prepped, okay?
It's basically like a compacted heat assault. It just, it can, it's actually like a portable unit that we can take up the elevator. That's why I asked if they had elevators so we can still do it. It's the only difference between the heat assault and the heat cannon. The heat cannon can only be used in smaller spaces because of course the trailer is more accommodating for larger spaces.
The female bed bug puts a little adhesive on and sticks them on the sides of things or under things wherever she wants them to stay.
If so, they'll probably come out because they know it's not going to work. They'll take your money and you won't be able to get them to come back out again.
Then, of course, you know, once we get closer, you know, if you want to go with us and we book you, we'll go over the pre-treatment checklist and that way everybody truly understands what they need to do to prep. Now, we do have availability a little bit later this week. Oh, I didn't even ask you about square footage. Do you know the square footage of your mom's home?
Then let me see. If your cleaning crew is going to go in before, if they can remove any aerosol cans, fire extinguishers, of course you're not going to have oxygen tanks, lighters, vapes, things like that in there. But just put them in the garage or put them on the back porch or out in the shed. If not, Victor will assess the home and he will pull those out. account before treatment.
An additional 60 days. We appreciate you working with us and, you know, taking, bagging the bugs up and describing everything and, you know, providing all the evidence, and we really appreciate that.
For us to do our one-day done treatment, it is $2,100. Okay.
The problem with bed bugs is that they are some of the hardiest pests around. They can survive in high heat and humid conditions, which is why heat has to be held for as long as it is. They move through the smallest cracks and crevices and stick easily to furniture, luggage, and clothing. Given they are so small, we do not notice them until they are legion.
If you want to get rid of bed bugs in Citrus County, you must pay close attention to where they appear. In a household, they could have been brought in by a visitor, by yourself when staying elsewhere, or made their way in through a connected property.
Bed bugs get around with consummate ease and breed at a dizzying rate, so a small collection can soon become an infestation occupying many or all of your rooms. For business owners, a guest could have brought them in, or a delivery shipment, or new furniture.
We often assume that bed bugs only stick to beds or old, smelly furniture. Bed bugs do not care whether furniture, bedding, or properties are clean or dirty. They are here for one thing only — blood. They are just as easily found in an immaculate five-star hotel as in an old, second-hand bed.
