Reaches into mattress seams, bed frames and wall voids a spray cannot. Kills every stage, eggs included.
Keeps working for weeks after we leave, so anything that survives or arrives later does not restart the problem.
Bed bugs die at 118°F held about 90 minutes; 122°F kills almost instantly. We hold lethal temperature throughout the home.
You get the prep list and an arrival window. Anything you are unsure about, we answer on the phone first.
Quoted over the phone before anything is booked, so there is no site visit and no surprise on the day.
A full heat cycle takes the whole home to lethal temperature, then a residual product goes down per its label.
Eight to eleven hours on site, depending on the size of the property and how much is in it.
We walk you through what we found and what to watch for, and the home is yours again the same day.
If bed bugs come back inside sixty days we return and treat again at no cost.
Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.
The porcelain dolls should be fine. Porcelain is hard. It's already gone through a kiln, which is much hotter than our heat treatment. Okay. Their hair is synthetic. It is a fiber. It's not a vinyl or a silicone. So that'll be fine.
Answered by Dori on a call,
One's different based on what the tech observes. We have special window things we put in where we can put the hoses through a window. We have insulated curtains. If we use a garage door or a front door or a back door, we use an insulated curtain. It just depends on the circumstance. Whatever is the easiest way to get hoses into the house is what we'll do.
Answered on a call,
I can kind of hold it for you for a bit. What we do, as I said, when we take someone on the calendar, right, we take the $200 deposit.
Answered by Dori on a call,
I am right now, let me look at the calendar. You are Delray Beach. I am not going to have an availability.
Answered by Dori on a call,
We're not a general pest control company. We strictly focus on bed bugs.
Answered by Mike on a call,
That'd be great. Let me give you the number. Ready whenever you are.
Answered by Mike on a call,
This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Elkridge and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.
When you are shopping around, you need to know that there are differences in heat treatment. So that's the first thing you want to ask. Is it a heat treatment? If they say it's just a spray, then no thank you.
If you use that high heat dryer and the vacuum and then just keep an eye on what's going on over the next few days then we should be able to figure out if the problem is gone or if it's worse than what we thought and right now I don't think it's it's a problem it's a nuisance But
I don't have, and there's many companies that do heat treatment, but there are differences in heat treatment. We use a salt system. The heat assault system is the latest state-of-the-art technology.
It's a proprietary blend of pesticide spray, but we do it first because when it's wet, I mean, it's a chemical, but when it's dry, it's non-harmful to people and pets, and we have never ever had an issue, and we do not spray anything that comes into.
Hot wash yeah but it's the high heat dryer if they're cleaned they really don't need to be re-washed okay just that high heat dryer is enough to kill if you're dealing with bed bugs if you're dealing with anything else it's enough to kill any bugs and any larva that are on them
I understand that. And usually if you're picking it up with your hands, just as long as you don't hold it up against your body, don't lean against furniture, sit down on furniture, you're fine.
It's a $200 inspection and a price to treat your home, and we do treat the whole home only just to make sure we get all bed bugs and eggs. It depends on the size of your home. Do you know your square footage?
They could be. I will go ahead and send these on to our technicians and get their thoughts on it. What happens when like the general pest control company coming in and spraying? When you spray, there's a chance you're going to get any bedbugs that are on the surface. They're very rarely on the surface unless they want to Right. come out to feed. The only way a spray alone is going to help is if they had a huge vat and your whole apartment, all your furniture was dumped into that vat, okay? And it's definitely not going to kill the eggs.
Unless there's somebody, you know, just like if you're in the bottom floor and somebody says, oh, people that live under me have bedbugs, they will very rarely go up into an apartment above them only because when we're sitting in our apartment upstairs or laying in the bed, that cloud of carbon dioxide is higher up in the room.
We can just inspect the one unit. We would just need to someone needs to be there to let him in inside the unit in the morning and then he'll do his inspection process and then let you know right there on the spot whether or not he's found bed bugs or not. Okay, just give me a call back and we'll get you set up.
Good morning. My name is Dori and I'm with Bedbug Exterminator and I was just speaking to Robert about the unit that's infested. Our key treatment is our trailer. So what we have to do is we have to get our trailer as close to that unit as possible and then we run hoses from the trailer into the unit. So he was saying that the balcony is above the pool. Is there a way to drive a truck and trailer in between the pool to get under the balcony?
It said 99 degrees when we went in there after two hours. Luckily, we had a couple industrial fans in the garage that he brought in.
Usually we might be able to go a little bit farther than that if we can make stuff stretch but typically we were able to park within 150 feet.
The heat assault system and I will send that to you right on your phone so you have the name of it.
Then tonight when you see that stuff, get me as good clear pictures as you can and text them. I'll see them in the morning when I log on. And if I cannot identify, I will hand those off to our technicians as well and ask them what it is. Okay.
Now, of course, if they fell off at the front door and your bedroom is in the back because you do have a larger home or upstairs, it's going to take them almost three weeks to find you, okay? But bedbugs are bad right now in the United States and you don't have to travel to pick them up. You can take an Uber, you can go to a restaurant, movies, doctor's offices.
That's too long. I think that's because... I think it's just because they would be using those electric heaters and those are kind of weak, but it may take a long time for those heaters to get to the temperature that we need.
Usually I have somebody down south, but we have a technician that's on vacation, so the down south guy is actually in Central Florida right now doing, let me see, yeah, he's in Kissimmee. Now we could.
I know it's hard to say, hey, guys, what bedrooms did you sleep in? You know, that's kind of odd to ask that, especially guests that have checked out with no issues.
It happens sadly but yeah anything after the 60 days if we keep you totally bed bug free that's a that's a new infestation because they're going to find you they'll find you quickly you know

Quoted as bed bug experts
Reporters do not find us in a directory; they come looking for someone who does this all day. CNN introduces Allan as the operations expert at Bed Bug Exterminator, and he has been quoted by name in thirty articles across fifteen national outlets.
Community-focused service
Seven offices across Florida and Maryland, each with its own locally staffed crew. The office that quotes your job is the one that turns up to it.
Affordable, high-quality heat solution
Priced by the size of the home rather than by the room, and quoted over the phone before anything is booked. No site visit, and no per-room upcharges.
Experienced, dedicated team
As Allan puts it: once we take on your project, your bed bug problem becomes my bed bug problem. If it turns out not to be bed bugs, we say so and cancel the contract. That has happened.
The single best solution — Heat Assault
Heat Assault reaches kill-zone temperature throughout the house and keeps climbing, which is what takes out the eggs as well as the adults. Paired with a residual spray on every job.

Over the years, we have developed a clear process and plan that works no matter the scale of infestation. As time has passed and our team has worked together more, we have focused on delivering treatment and solutions for bed bugs that are proven to work. To do this, we follow a strict five-step process that helps us to prepare any property in Elkridge and beyond for the removal of bed bugs:
This five-step process means that we can, more often than not, eradicate all bed bugs present in your building in one visit. Instead of a course of return trips, you get a solution that is covered for a minimum of sixty days. Plan on the crew being with you for most of a working day: a full heat cycle plus the spray usually runs somewhere between eight and eleven hours, depending on the size of the property and how much is in it.
Heat only works if the whole structure gets past lethal temperature and stays there. That is a question of output, and output is a number.
| Heat only | Chemical | Combination | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Kills eggs | Yes | Often misses | Yes |
| Residual protection | None | A few weeks | Weeks |
| Reaches hidden voids | Bugs flee deeper | Limited | Yes |

Rentals turn over faster than owner-occupied homes, and turnover is how an infestation arrives.

Yes. Elkridge is inside our service area, worked out of our Bethesda office, about a 43-minute drive away. We treat homes and businesses there, and the treatment is the same combination of Heat Assault thermal heat and a residual spray we run everywhere else.
Same-week appointments are usual. Because Elkridge sits roughly 43 minutes from our Bethesda office, a crew can normally be with you within a few days of the call, and the whole job is one visit rather than a course of return trips.
Treatment starts at an $1,800 minimum and is priced by the size of the home, with most homes landing between about $1,800 and $2,800. There are no per-room upcharges. We give you the exact number over the phone before anything is booked.
Almost never. Furniture is treated where it stands: heat reaches inside mattresses, frames and upholstery where a spray cannot, so it does not need to be discarded or replaced. We will tell you plainly if a piece is genuinely beyond saving.
Clearly, you are dealing with an infestation of bed bugs in Elkridge. Some of the most common signs that we recommend you look out for when dealing with bed bugs include, but are not limited to:
Unfortunately, these signs prompt that you are dealing with a bed bug problem. With that being the case, taking action as soon as possible would be wise. If you spot even one of these signs, it is probably a clear indication that you have bed bugs loitering around your home or business.
