Why we run both, on every job

Heat

Reaches into mattress seams, bed frames and wall voids a spray cannot. Kills every stage, eggs included.

Residual

Keeps working for weeks after we leave, so anything that survives or arrives later does not restart the problem.

One visit

Bed bugs die at 118°F held about 90 minutes; 122°F kills almost instantly. We hold lethal temperature throughout the home.

Asked on a call from Westchase

April 2026

Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.

Would they still be biting it's just a question though would they still be biting if they had already gone through treatment Like

Somewhat possible if they haven't crossed that pesticide barrier, because when they cross that pesticide barrier and get the growth inhibitor on them, it will start immediately shutting them down to where they cannot feed. So that means they're not biting anyone. But with that, if they cannot feed, they cannot grow and they cannot breed.

Answered by Dori on a call,

What about the, obviously the overnight, obviously, so would increase the rate.

Typically it is about $300 to $400 more if we have to do a premium overnight because he's pulling an overnighter, which is going to be a double shift for him.

Answered on a call,

I believe they're in for three or four nights?

Three or four nights. Okay. Three or four nights. Yeah, because we don't, hi, because we don't want you, yes. Okay. Okay.

Answered by Dori on a call,

What is your okay?

I've sent you a couple texts before, I believe, so you should have all that information right under that phone number.

Answered by Dori on a call,

Would this be, should I just put mine as the primary or what?

We could do that, and that way you could notify your mom.

Answered by Dori on a call,

In our own words

20 from recorded calls

This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Westchase and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.

Based on all the information that you gave to me, it looks like we can do it through the heat treatment. And also, by the way, what we do is we use a pesticide along with the heat treatment. So we come inside your house. The first thing that we do is we spray the interior perimeter with a pesticide spray.

Mike

Price match. No, and the reason why is because we don't have a lot of competition when it comes to heat treatment, and we're very guaranteed that this is going to work.

Charles

I understand both because I know he wants to just be done with it, but you want to do it right so you don't have to redo it. Because as we talked about, the better people are at prepping their home, the better their home is ready for us, the more effective treatment we can give you.

We can certainly assist you with eliminating and eradicating those bedbugs and their eggs. It sounds like you're already familiar with the process. But I'll just briefly go over what we do here at Bedbug Exterminator. We are not a general pest control company, so we are strictly focused on elimination of bedbugs in their eggs. We actually use a combined treatment of a pesticide spray and the heat treatment. So we bring a commercially built trailer that's unmarked for, you know.

Mike

We can definitely get over there today to do the inspection, whether it will be Chase or whether it will be Richard remains to be seen right now, but I'm just filling all this out.

Dori

The department management. They would need to know in advance that you have hired someone, a company to do the treatment for bed bugs and we can provide them with our insurance and license number and any information that they might need.

Mike

We do an all-day treatment, so we start in the morning and we have everybody back by 8 p.m., no later than 8 p.m. It's usually about dinner time, so we would need all people and all pets out of the house for the day. Now, in regards to our spray, it's a proprietary blend of pesticide spray and growth inhibitor. We spray that first. We spray the perimeter of each and every single room, each and every single closet.

Dori

They like to aggregate in clusters and in odd places. And a lot of times they're in beds and furniture, but sometimes you'll find them in clusters on the walls or around electrical outlets or even on drapes. They do cluster sometimes in weird places. Yeah, I'm just still waiting on my team to get back to me.

Mike

They would have to be out of the RV or the camper for at least three hours after we do the treatment because, you know, there's going to be fumes in there and such.

Mike

It's spray. It comes in a white handled jug, well, at least the one that I used to get ages ago, a white handled jug that has just one. one of those little um you know plastic sprayers on it that has a Right.

Dori

We keep the we we bring the temperature up to 140 degrees and we leave it there for five six or sometimes seven hours it just depends on how efficiently it's heating up the uh the house so it's not just a two or three hour thing it's it's a it's a process man i mean and then there's some there's some um Preparation work that has to go into it as well, like fire extinguishers, combustible items like oxygen tanks, aerosol cans, all that would have to be removed

Mike

They hang in and around bedrooms, family rooms, living rooms, dens. Now, that being said, unless that duplex, the other unit is on top of you. Bedbugs usually don't hang out on the ceiling.

Dori

Then we do a spray. Now, this spray is like icing on our cake. We do a perimeter spray of each and every single room and closet throughout the whole home. We also spray any nooks and crannies we find throughout the home and we spray very carefully and strategically underneath and deep inside furniture throughout your whole home where we know the bedbugs like to hide and nest, okay?

Dori

Bed bugs usually don't get into something that heavy, but if they had it open and they had clothing they were moving in and out of it or blankets or something.

Dori

Bed bugs normally bite in that cluster of three, as I was saying. But if somebody is rolling over while they're being bit, that bed bug is going to lose its place. They are not industrious enough to go, okay, wait a minute, where was I? They're just going to bite the next available piece of skin they come to if they're still hungry. If they're not, if they were having finishing dinner, they'll probably just go back into their hiding spot.

That's about all my creative financing right there. But I, you know, wanted to give you that idea. Now there is prep that you need to do for your home and I'm going to send you a pre-treatment checklist. And I know you guys have got a lot of things to talk about. You guys are probably shopping around, which is absolutely fine. We want you to find someone that you're comfortable with. Okay.

Dori

I know that we talked about preparation earlier. You know, you shared those images with us so that way my team could look at it and, you know, they shared their thoughts with it and I gave that to you. But I do want to just briefly go over the preparation and you don't have to remember this and you can you'll be able to refer to that email which will have a link to this same checklist.

Mike

5th and 6th, I believe those are the dates, and then sleep on it, and then that way we can go through and, you know, talk to your mom, try and say, hey, mom, listen, you know, even share the pictures with her and say, mom, they're not going to let him back in if any of this stuff is in the house, you know.

Dori

We can do something, um, but I can't guarantee anything, but I understand that your, um, is it a relative that's coming back to the house on Monday?

Mike

What we do is we're not a general pest control company, so our only mission is to destroy bed bugs and their eggs.
