Bed Bug Services in Meadow Woods, FL

If you are having a hard time with bed bugs in Meadow Woods, then you are not alone. At BBE, we frequently receive calls from concerned home and business owners in the area. Given the commonality of bed bugs in the city, it should come as no surprise that you might end up having a problem with bed bugs. Bed bugs are believed to impact around 20% of Florida’s population at one stage in their lives.

This means that, in Meadow Woods, you could find bed bugs have impacted as many as 8,000 people – or more. The sheer number of bed bugs that you can find varies, too, depending on the scale of infestation. One thing is for sure, though: at BBE, our mantra is that there are too many one-bed bugs. So, we look to resolve any bed bugs that arrive by offering our clients immediate access to inspections and treatment options.

The most effective form of treatment that we use for bed bugs in Meadow Woods is heat treatment. Having been proven to be the best way to get rid of bed bugs, heat treatment is our go-to choice of attack. Not only do we know that heat treatment wipes out bed bugs in significant numbers, but we know the results last. In fact, when you hire BBE, you get a bed bug heat treatment that guarantees 60+ days of peace.

If you are sick of waking up in the middle of the night with bed bug bites, contact us for help. We can give you all of the information you need to overcome this problem and sleep happily again!

Why we run both, on every job

Heat

Reaches into mattress seams, bed frames and wall voids a spray cannot. Kills every stage, eggs included.

Residual

Keeps working for weeks after we leave, so anything that survives or arrives later does not restart the problem.

One visit

Bed bugs die at 118°F held about 90 minutes; 122°F kills almost instantly. We hold lethal temperature throughout the home.

Asked on a call from Meadow Woods

March 2026

Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.

What is the temperature, right, where insects can't live above a certain temperature, right?

I know bed bugs specifically, which are, you know, notorious for being the hardest to get rid of. It's 122 degrees. We actually heat everything up to 140.

Answered on a call,

What was your name, man?

My name is Charles. If you ever want to call back and just chat with any one of us and ask for me, I'm always available. I will jot it down in our notes here that me and you spoke.

Answered by Charles on a call,

How do they travel?

They usually would come out when the people are sleeping because they can sense your CO2, you know, your sedentary, your body heat and they'll come out and feed and hide back away and they might choose that day to hide back away in your suitcase or in your backpack or something because they like softness. They like, so they might crawl back behind the bed or they might crawl somewhere else and then you bring them home.

Answered by Julie on a call,

Where did he get that from?

I'm not sure it is a 60-day guarantee, so he must have just misheard.

Answered on a call,

Did say that he cleaned the bathroom window that there were a lot of gnats flying around the bathroom window well that couldn't could that be a sign of termites

I really don't know much about anything at all about termites.

Answered by Mike on a call,

Will I be able to get somebody to do and to come out and check?

From what I'm hearing, I don't think it's bedbugs. I mean, we did find ants.

Answered by Dori on a call,

In our own words

20 from recorded calls

This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Meadow Woods and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.

It is going to get rid of your bedbugs for you. It is a heat and spray treatment. Our spray is the icing on our cake. The heat is the cake. And when dealing with bedbugs, heat is the only way to kill them and their eggs in a one-day-and-done treatment.

Dori

People and pets and plants would all have to be removed from the property along with some additional prep work that needs to be done. But as long as your house is pretty clean and tidy, then most of the preparation work is done already.

Mike

The way that we – our approach to destroying bedbugs in our eggs is we do a combined treatment. We spray the interior perimeter of your house with a pesticide spray.

Mike

If, you know, if you lack space, but just make sure that those suitcases are opened and either put like on the bathroom floor or the countertop in the bathroom or the kitchen countertop, we want to make sure that stuff gets fully heat treated for you so you are not taking anything home with you.

Dori

I was going to say if you don't need to replace it or, you know, living room furniture, things like that, a lot of people just start chucking things out the door, you know, and it's like we can save all that for you with a good heat treatment. You know, the heat treatment can save all your furniture. But if it's something that you've wanted to replace anyways, you go ahead and replace it. I do suggest waiting until after treatment, though.

Dori

If you want us to come out and just inspect Richard, the cost is $200, and if you elect to use our service again to destroy the bedbugs in their eggs if it is found to be bedbug positive, then that $200 would be credited towards the cost for the service.

Mike

I understand. And that it just doesn't work because you've got two reasons. They outrun it, but also we've got to bring the equipment out and stay there all day. It could save you $300, but I wouldn't guarantee it.

Julie

What we asked, and we already talked about that, a floor free of clutter. Okay, and all clothing in the closets or in the dressers.

Dori

My goodness. Oh my goodness. Now is the time to say, listen, mom, you know, we're dealing with bed bugs. We need to lighten the load so that way we can get the most effective treatment.

Dori

You are in another area of the house, it may take a few days, but they could find you. Okay, so that's just kind of spreading the problem. So what I suggest is very carefully stripping the bed, any clothing, any excess blankets, pillows, anything that can go in the dryer, any textiles.

Dori

On aging okay um now what you would do is you would give them a call and let them know that you are looking for financial help for a bed bug treatment they're very helpful um if they cannot help you what they will do is they will um give you a number or two for a different agency.

Dori

What we ask is that your floor is free of clutter throughout the whole home. Okay. Sometimes it's easy to do if you keep a nice tidy house. Other people go, oh my God, no, I'm going to need time. Okay. And that kind of gives us an idea right there. And then we ask that all clothing be laundered, hanging up in the closet, just fold it up in the dressers. Now let me reiterate that if they're already in the closets or the dressers, they're fine.

Dori

Just for the night you know just for the night to hang out during the day and that way in case they do happen to bring a bed bug or egg with them you know Um, it's not going to hopefully cause a problem.

Dori

All right. All right. You have a good one. Enjoy a good, comfortable sleep on your new bed when you get it. Just make sure it's in the center of the room.

Dori

We do 60 days. You really only need 30 because you're going to know right away if we didn't get them. But we just we don't want people to think we're not trying to get away with anything. We haven't we're in this for the long haul.

Julie

Help me out. Okay. And get me pictures, you know, so that way I can go to the team and say, yes, she is still having issues because Chase said when he was there, he found absolutely no evidence of bedbugs whatsoever. And he really looks thoroughly. All of our technicians do. But he knew because what we did not.

Dori

If you have like three bites and you're getting bit every three to five days, there's a good possibility you have one wayward bed bug in your house. If you have three bites every day for three days. It's probably a good chance you have three bedbugs in your house.

Dori

They usually would come out when the people are sleeping because they can sense your CO2, you know, your sedentary, your body heat and they'll come out and feed and hide back away and they might choose that day to hide back away in your suitcase or in your backpack or something because they like softness. They like, so they might crawl back behind the bed or they might crawl somewhere else and then you bring them home.

Julie

Then we talked to November 1st okay and you were getting bites for about a month every three to five days you did have bed bugs before okay and that was a long time ago right

Dori

Their buffet right and so we are their primary source of food and they're they cannot reproduce without us without human blood so yeah I'm so sorry to hear that you're having this position Jackie I'm glad that you called us though we're we have been in business for several years now and we have lots of very very happy customers I'm not sure if you've done any research on what it takes to destroy the bedbugs and their eggs.

The single best solution — Heat Assault

Heat Assault reaches kill-zone temperature throughout the house and keeps climbing, which is what takes out the eggs as well as the adults. Paired with a residual spray on every job.
