If I didn't tell you we sprayed, you would not know because there is no scent with it. And it has growth inhibitor in it. So if by chance something gets moved out of a home and then accidentally brought back in with a bedbug in it, that growth inhibitor, once that bedbug crosses it, it's going to start shutting that bedbug down. It won't be able to feed. And if a bedbug... The bug can't feed, it can't breed.

You'll need to just let them know in advance, you know, call them and say, hey, this is Luda. You know, tell them what the apartment number is. I'm in 208. I suspect that we have bed bugs in this apartment and I've already contracted a bed bug exterminator to come in and do a heat treatment. They're not going, I mean, it's rare occasion that they're going to have any problem with that.

This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Lakeland and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.
For example, if a bed bug laid an egg at 7.59 a.m. the morning that we started heat treatment at 8 a.m. It takes 14 days for that egg, once laid, to develop and hatch. It comes out hungry. That bed bug is going to find you, even if it's on the other side of the house, within a few days.
I wouldn't say nothing. We want to heat treat as much as possible, but we know you keep a neat and tidy home, which is half the battle right there.
We prefer a Ziploc bag. That way we can see how long they take to die. So if they die within hours or the next day, they've gone through treatment. They're just dying slowly. If they don't die, then that's when we worry because somebody missed treatment.
We could do a spray treatment that may help you. If you're interested in doing something like that, I can possibly work up a quote for you.
Most of the time we usually don't say yes, you know, we found bedbugs, whatever. We do that with an inspection letter, which we also give if you need an inspection before we treat. So there's proof whether, you know, you have bedbugs in your rental or not.
If you haven't seen any bedbugs or gotten any bites since your treatment, it's a strong possibility that the bedbug infestation has been totally wiped out.
A straggler. Something happened. Some part got missed. Usually it happens in cluttery homes or it happens with a really bad infestation. And in those cases, like 5% of the time, in those cases, we just come back out and spray. Top to bottom again, you got to be out for three hours that day. And that will be the final final. If it wasn't, we still guarantee our work and we'll come back out. The rare cases we have to come back out at once.
You may never know where you got them, but I just don't want you to worry that you're getting them or you're really probably not getting them from your neighbor.
That way we can look at them. I will send them on to our technicians. They can give me their thoughts as well. Sometimes it is hard looking at pictures if it's a dog or if it's a sand flea or if it's a chigger or mosquito bite, you know. So sometimes it's really, really hard to tell. Other times a little easier to tell.
I'm starting to wonder, could we be dealing with more than one type of bug here? We can, we'll work together and we'll get to the bottom of it, but we're just, you know, want to ask them some smart questions. That's all because we just want you to have a successful treatment in the end, right? So, okay.
If you want to put them outside, that would be fine. If you can still go ahead and put those in a bag outside, that way, if any bedbugs are in there, then there's no issue of them being, you know, getting on anything else.

Just don't leave it on the floor or put it back on the bed. And that way she can take her clothes directly from the closet and put them in the suitcase and have her leave her suitcase there, okay, in the kitchen area.

And sadly, with an Airbnb, if you have a guest complaint, they'll pull you off Airbnb and verbo until you can prove you've had treatment and are no longer dealing with bed bugs. Absolutely. You know, with you being an Airbnb, we know the infestation hadn't been around for long, so we're not so worried about them being stuck in the walls and then continuing to come out.
Absolutely. And if you're listed on Airbnb or Vrbo, you need to have confirmation that it's bedbug free or they will yank you quickly. Now, thankfully, you know, they caught it the first night, even though it's dead.
I do. Those are what we need to worry about. If pictures are, I know, if pictures are nailed into the wall, you know, the nails and they're not plastic anchors, you know, and they're secured, they're fine. But those command strips will get soft.
Have to come back out if we have to come back out and retreat at least good news it's not an all-day process she would only have to be gone for three hours because what we'll do is we come back in and respray and that will nix that small problem in the bud
It over. I would look upside down to, you know, look underneath as well and make sure that that you're not there, that you're not sitting on something that has bedbugs or eggs on it with your feet. If you're sitting in a chair, I wouldn't keep my feet still too long. I would move my feet around a little bit because if a bed bug is crawling across the floor and your shoe is right there, they could easily cling on to your shoes too.
