We walk you through what we found and what to watch for, and the home is yours again the same day.

Quoted as bed bug experts
Reporters do not find us in a directory; they come looking for someone who does this all day. CNN introduces Allan as the operations expert at Bed Bug Exterminator, and he has been quoted by name in thirty articles across fifteen national outlets.
Community-focused service
Seven offices across Florida and Maryland, each with its own locally staffed crew. The office that quotes your job is the one that turns up to it.
Affordable, high-quality heat solution
Priced by the size of the home rather than by the room, and quoted over the phone before anything is booked. No site visit, and no per-room upcharges.
Experienced, dedicated team
As Allan puts it: once we take on your project, your bed bug problem becomes my bed bug problem. If it turns out not to be bed bugs, we say so and cancel the contract. That has happened.
The single best solution — Heat Assault
Heat Assault reaches kill-zone temperature throughout the house and keeps climbing, which is what takes out the eggs as well as the adults. Paired with a residual spray on every job.

Measured across 20 call-backs where a caller in Apopka did not reach us first time; nine in ten were returned within 752 minutes. Counts come from our own phone record. No caller is identified.
Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.
The way that we use heat as well over here at Bedbug Exterminator, we actually do a combined treatment where we do a pesticide spray first around the perimeter of the home. And then we bring, it's a commercial piece of equipment. It's called a heat assault. It's on a black unmarked trailer. So, you know, neighbors won't know what's going on.
Answered by Mike on a call,
I would just like to get him a hotel and keep him right there in Port St. Lucie and take care of you on Saturday.
Answered by Dori on a call,
We can get you a quote. I also would be happy to try to evaluate and see if maybe you are dealing with bedbugs or another type of insect. I might be able to help navigate.
Answered on a call,
Other things to be worried, concerned about is guitars and pianos. Sometimes they can be tuned, can make it go out of tune.
Answered by Mike on a call,
We'll answer the phone. I was going to say we'll do 48 hours. You can have till tomorrow. You know, I don't mind.
Answered by Julie on a call,
Are you dealing with bed bugs again? Well, I can absolutely help you out with that.
Answered by Dori on a call,
This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Apopka and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.
Have a 60-day guarantee, and if you see bedbugs within those 60 days after we've done the heat treatment, we come back out, and that is no cost to you.
If you want to bring some of those items back, now don't stuff the closet, you know, leave some airflow around there and stuff. But we would rather keep treat as much as possible. But we do walk a fine line between there being clutter and being able to give you the most effective treatment.
If you can deal with the clutter and the clothing and excess bedding and stuff like that, make sure everything's run through that high heat dryer for at least 40 minutes. It'll kill any bed bugs or eggs that are on there. And then when you vacuum, make sure immediately after vacuuming, you're throwing that vacuum dirt into an outdoor trash can, okay?
Kind of the same thing, okay? It's not going to do any good heat treating the garage or a porch. So you can easily move those items that you need to move out of your home.
Around door jams window seals inside closets around baseboards and then we immediately follow up with our heat treatment now we bring a it's a it's a trailer it's like a black unmarked trailer so it's very discreet no one will know what we're doing there other than maybe cleaning carpets or something. This trailer is commercially designed and built to specifically for bed bug treatments.
The, yeah, so you just pay half of the cost for the treatment up front, and that would be $800. And then the remaining balance, the $800, that would be billed over four equal payments. So that would be $200 a month for four months.
Any items that do need to be removed from the heat treatment area, we suggest the garage is a great place for them.
A spray only would just prolong the problem. You'd only be killing a few at a time. The eggs wouldn't be bothered. They would continue to grow and hatch or develop and hatch and bedbugs that did not get killed. killed by the spray would continue breeding and laying more eggs so it's a Yeah.
It'll be good for you to turn your AC back on. And don't plug any electronics back into your house that's actually cool and you feel comfortable enough that it's cool enough for you guys to breathe because sometimes that heat can choke you up.
Then he'll ask you to stay out of the home for another couple hours. That way the heat will start to naturally dissipate. It's still going to be hot when you guys get home. Okay, so what we suggest is open it up the window. The windows get a cross breeze going, kind of bring that temperature down a little bit more instead of automatically flicking on your air conditioner.
If they have any kind of oil paintings, um, those can be damaged. We want to take those off the wall, put those into the garage or just set them outside for the duration of the treatment.
I am guessing is after the no-cost, no-obligation Zoom call that we have, if we are interested, it costs us to go through you to prepare everything for us to be approved for government contracts, correct?
What we do is the full home treatment only, reason being bedbugs are hitchhikers. That's how they get into your house. People usually have them in their home a good month or two months before they realize they're dealing with bedbugs. There is a very high probability, not only have some of them hitchhiked back out of the home with you everywhere you go, but they have hitched into other areas of the home. and you just don't realize it yet.
My gosh, that's great. Okay. We can actually get you taken care of as early as this coming Monday, the 31st. So what we ask of our customers is that the home is pretty neat and tidy, so no floor clutter throughout the home, okay?
You got rid of your bed, got a new bed, now you're sleeping back in the room, and then it's a problem again. Okay, and you haven't seen any kind of evidence of any bugs on your mattress, your old bed?
About how many feet away from your apartment? Like you have to walk to the stairs, so when you walk out your door, how many feet to the stairwell?
If you have them in one room of the house, I mean, we know based on our experience that if you have them in one room of the house, they're likely have already spread to other rooms. You just haven't noticed them yet. It just may be in the sort of early stages of a infestation.
You could, I would say let it naturally dissipate for a while, maybe as you're on your way home, turn it on, because what we don't want to see is unneeded wear and tear on anybody's AC unit, because that's, that's a lot of heat that that AC would be fighting. So, and it also jacks up your electric bill. So let it, let it kind of.
Sometimes that's difficult to do. Now, something that you have to, that's why when Airbnb owners contact us, like in a panic because their guests that's staying there now says they've gotten bit, you know, they've seen a bug. We ask for pictures.
I'm not referring to just printed artwork. I'm specifically targeting oil paintings. So if you just have regular printed artwork on your walls, that's no problem. It's the oil paintings that we have that can get, you know, if they get hot, then they could run. Some other things to take concern with here are going to be makeup and medications. If you have any makeup and medications, you can simply put those into the refrigerator where they will be heat insulated, okay?

Yes. Apopka is inside our service area, worked out of our Winter Garden office, about a 21-minute drive away. We treat homes and businesses there, and the treatment is the same combination of Heat Assault thermal heat and a residual spray we run everywhere else.
Same-week appointments are usual. Because Apopka sits roughly 21 minutes from our Winter Garden office, a crew can normally be with you within a few days of the call, and the whole job is one visit rather than a course of return trips.
Treatment starts at an $1,800 minimum and is priced by the size of the home, with most homes landing between about $1,800 and $2,800. There are no per-room upcharges. We give you the exact number over the phone before anything is booked.
Almost never. Furniture is treated where it stands: heat reaches inside mattresses, frames and upholstery where a spray cannot, so it does not need to be discarded or replaced. We will tell you plainly if a piece is genuinely beyond saving.
