Quoted as bed bug experts
Reporters do not find us in a directory; they come looking for someone who does this all day. CNN introduces Allan as the operations expert at Bed Bug Exterminator, and he has been quoted by name in thirty articles across fifteen national outlets.
Community-focused service
Seven offices across Florida and Maryland, each with its own locally staffed crew. The office that quotes your job is the one that turns up to it.
Affordable, high-quality heat solution
Priced by the size of the home rather than by the room, and quoted over the phone before anything is booked. No site visit, and no per-room upcharges.
Experienced, dedicated team
As Allan puts it: once we take on your project, your bed bug problem becomes my bed bug problem. If it turns out not to be bed bugs, we say so and cancel the contract. That has happened.
The single best solution — Heat Assault
Heat Assault reaches kill-zone temperature throughout the house and keeps climbing, which is what takes out the eggs as well as the adults. Paired with a residual spray on every job.

Measured across 38 call-backs where a caller in Holiday did not reach us first time; nine in ten were returned within 549 minutes. Counts come from our own phone record. No caller is identified.
Every question below was asked by a real caller on a recorded call, 2 of them from Holiday and the area we cover from here, and every answer is what one of our crew said back on the phone, word for word. We give the caller's first name, or their postcode where we do not have one, and never their surname, address or phone number.
Then I just received your text saying no comment, huh? Well, I did reply to you, so I just wanted to make sure you saw our reply that I sent this morning about 8.50 a.m. I didn't want you to think that we were ignoring you.
Answered by Dori on a call,
It is Pasco. Okay, so let me go one better because Pinellas and Pasco County share an area agency on aging. So I am going to jump over here. Hold on one second.
Answered by Dori on a call,
You don't need to throw your mattresses out. When it's bed bugs, you need a heat treatment. There are companies that will come out and just spray for you, but honestly, it's just going to get the ones on the surface. If you found bed bugs, then there are other bed bugs you're not seeing, and they could be away from the bed. They could be in the baseboards and the wall outlets and the furniture. your surrounding bed bugs are hitchhikers and they hitchhike into your home on clothing and shoes and bags so it's a very high probability that since a couple hitchhiked into your home they've been hitchhiking into other areas of your home you just haven't realized the problem yet So what we do is a full home treatment. It is an all-day treatment, and we start at 7 a.m. in the morning. We have everyone back in the home no later than 8 p.m., and we are really good at what we do.
Answered by Dori on a call,
You just want to unplug them. The only time you would want to take a computer out is if it happens to be one of those new expensive high-end gaming PCs that has a cooling system.
Answered on a call,
I can give you a call tomorrow. If you can get the number of sprinklers, because that will affect the quote, the estimates. So just if you could just count the number of sprinklers and that way when I call you tomorrow, I can give you a more, you know, a better idea how much it's going to cost. Okay.
Answered by Mike on a call,
Certainly. What I can do is reach out to the owners to see if we can work out a payment plan.
Answered on a call,
We've seen bed bug resurgence in Florida by up to 500%. So it's getting pretty bad.
Answered by Mike on a call,
You really only need, you'll know within the first few weeks.
Answered by Julie on a call,
This is our own crew, on recorded calls about jobs in Holiday and nearby. Word for word. Each one says who was talking and when.
If the inspection comes back as bed bug positive, then at that point it's going to be your choice to determine if you want to elect our services to perform the heat treatment on your house to destroy those bed bugs.
Floor clutter will hurt the effectiveness of our treatment it breaks that heat down low where we need it to be a thick blanket of heat and it also makes it difficult for our technicians to do that perimeter spray everywhere okay
She has already high heated everything and then thrown it into a bag and then when it comes back in we'll throw it through the high heat again and then put it away.
Top of each other. What will happen is once our technician does the whole house spray, then he will open up all the drawers, all the closet doors, all the cabinet doors to make sure he'll prop up mattresses, things like that to make sure that heat. thoroughly gets around everything.
Now, all the sprays and the powders will not kill the eggs. The only thing that kills the eggs besides squishing them is a heat treatment. Now, I wish you would have called us a few months ago because we could have saved all of your furniture. A good, effective heat treatment can save all of your mattresses, all of your furniture because that deep into those. and gets the bed bugs and the eggs where they're hiding and nesting, okay?
Pre-treatment checklist I'm going to send that for you so basically what we ask is that there be no floor clutter or as little floor clutter as possible okay just makes it easier for our technicians to work it makes it easier for them to spray all the baseboards and it allows that heat to really build up down low where those bed bugs are hanging out now okay so really important
It is a house, 1,600 square feet. Okay, so for us to do... Our one-day-and-done treatment for your home, it would be $1,900. We take a $200 deposit, $1,900.
We have plenty of time left in the 60-day guarantee, so if we have to get Chase out there again or Richard, depending on who's in the area, then we will definitely do so if needed, okay?
Heat treatment and a spray the spray is a second layer of protection more like the icing on our heat treatment cake Okay,
You rule out a couple more things okay and then you know check in with your primary or urgent care and see what they say Because I know you're looking for relief, but I tell you what, use your dryer and use your vacuum cleaner and make sure you're throwing that vacuum dirt into an outdoor trash can. Don't leave it in the vacuum. Don't leave it in the indoor trash.
I'm one of the owners, and I'm calling back to try to get a little more information because it is nearly unheard of for us to do our treatment and then to come do a respray and for you to still have bugs. So what are you seeing?
I don't need a picture of your ceiling. I need pictures of the bugs as close and clear as you can get them. If you think it's close up and clear enough, I need it even closer and clearer, okay? Because we have to enlarge it because the bugs, the biggest ones are no bigger than an apple seed.
Because that just gives bedbugs more places to hide and nest and it breaks up our heat that we need down low where the bedbugs are hanging out. Okay. We know the top.
Want six to put hours. your floors back on. Absolutely. Those little buggers. Okay, so let me, I am refreshing my system so now I can send you the pretreatment checklist that will go right to your phone.
When you stop spraying, because every time you spray, you're only killing a couple bedbugs. The other one senses the spray and they move deeper into the walls. Sometimes they'll go into dormancy. Okay, and they can live in dormancy for at least a year without a food source. So for a couple of weeks, you think, oh, I'm good. I fixed it. And then you stop spraying and you stop putting powder down.
Bed bugs and eggs die off at the heat is over 122 degrees.
Then when he doesn't open them, make sure he doesn't open them. Because if you accidentally open something and you don't realize there's a bed bug on your shirt, on your sleeve and you lean over and you're digging, you know, we don't want to, you know, we don't want to take the chance of him accidentally dropping a bed bug in there and then opening it up after treatment and reinspecting themselves. So yeah, so keep those.
Up front, $1,150 on the payment plan. So the $1,150 would be the $200 deposit. That never changes. And then $950 on the day of treatment. And then the other $1,150 would be broken down into like six monthly payments for you. Okay? So, you know, that gives you... a couple different ways to go. Now, what a lot of our customers do, they will try and get the funding, but they're like, okay, let's go for the payment plan. Let's get this taken care of sooner rather than later.
Going to fall under our, we're going to go in, we're going to do our job, you're going to be bed bug free and you'll never have to deal with this again unless down the road you have other guests that bring in more bed bugs, you know, but we do give a 60-day guarantee on our work and that way, you know, it does protect you as well as a renter and if you need it, we give a treatment letter for you so in case they happen to complain or anything like that you have got that treatment letter for Airbnb so they don't pull you okay or
He might be the type that just doesn't react. You have a more sensitive system where you are having some kind of an allergic reaction to whatever it is. Now, how many, when you first started noticing, how many bites were in those clusters?

Older housing stock means more cracks and crevices for bed bugs to harbour in. Rentals turn over faster than owner-occupied homes, and turnover is how an infestation arrives.

Yes. Holiday is inside our service area, worked out of our Clearwater office, about a 30-minute drive away. We treat homes and businesses there, and the treatment is the same combination of Heat Assault thermal heat and a residual spray we run everywhere else.
Same-week appointments are usual. Because Holiday sits roughly 30 minutes from our Clearwater office, a crew can normally be with you within a few days of the call, and the whole job is one visit rather than a course of return trips.
Treatment starts at an $1,800 minimum and is priced by the size of the home, with most homes landing between about $1,800 and $2,800. There are no per-room upcharges. We give you the exact number over the phone before anything is booked.
Almost never. Furniture is treated where it stands: heat reaches inside mattresses, frames and upholstery where a spray cannot, so it does not need to be discarded or replaced. We will tell you plainly if a piece is genuinely beyond saving.
